1. Brand : Acer or any other recommend brand

2. Budget : < RM 3000.00

3. Usage : Mainly for surfing internet, and clerical work.

4. Preferred Laptop/Screen size : 15" or smaller

hello, i bought asus a43ta from recommendation before.
now the asus dead, waiting ppl fix it by tmrw, within 1week  i should can get a new 1.
since the 43ta i bought is last set, i may change model if the technician cant fix the asus.
any suggestion that the spec is near like 43ta ? and price most good is below 2k.
acer 5560g the shop no sell , so i wont take that. the shop mostly sell asus brand and some acer ,those model abit old model since 2month ago or more.
any other asus brand should i get? i dont mind change from liano platform to Intel i5
but the price should below 2k. any recommendation?

my own experience i feel liano platform maybe not really stable enough

is it worth to buy asus G53sx-sz039v? rm3,999?? will it be outdated in 2 to 3 years to play games like cod,nfs or not?maybe like to try play crysis also..it is worth to buy?

dell warranty with asus what different? i thought spoil, send back to them they repair not like this?

5. Additional requirement - must have optical drive..

Currently in mind is Asus U46SV, looks light with reasonable ok spec and also with optical drive (no, I would not want an external OD so many extra thin / light laptops are out). Wonder is there any other better recommendation?
