Any idea what player can support 720p mkv? Searched here said that lag issue is a known thing. Has it been resolved?

this is my 1st time buy tablet... very fun...

i just wan to check whether Viber can use in our tab??? and best PDF apps, and office apps..

just saw in the galaxytabhacks.com that the Overcome 10.1 ROM with Pershoot's overclocked kernel is available for P7500.

Any taikor try out already?? Recommendation ??

8.9 as it comes with HC 3.2. I think it will take forever for 10.1 to get HC 3.2, or probably never.

8.9 can record 1080p video as well, if I'm not mistaken.

8.9 default is come with 3.1 os

I have upgraded to BroodComb @ XXKI1, but I just realised there's a stock ROM running DXKI2. Any idea if I could flash XXKI1 to it?

You can try dice player from the market. It's a paid apps but there's trial version. Maybe you can test it out first.

I believe Tab having problem playing video with these codec combination:
Video: H264
Audio: AAC

Videos with H264 and other type of Audio codec were tested ok.

EDIT: on BroodComb XXKI1, I'm able to play video of the above codecs combo. Maybe upgraded from XXKH7? Good thing.

I'm wondering about ICS. Do we will get an update from Samsung or dev (custom rom) after ICS source code released in the future?

Samsung made announcement that Tab10.1 will be getting ICS 4.0.

So you just... wait la... wait... wait again... slowly wait... ok, your Tab obsolete already, can throw... wait... maybe they'll release it by then.

Update update usually will follow with new device coming up first
If not mistaken maybe Q1 2012 can get our ICS update

Really hate this waiting game.. can't wait for the ice cream. But til now I'm very satisfied with my tab. Very smooth with brodcomb. No more lagging. Hopefully it will stay this way.

Swith to Transfomer Prime? Hardware accel by default. I hope our Tegra 2 still kicking after this.

Already kena tasty experience from Sammy on SGS Gingerbread update.

Announced, then I think 6 months later only get the official one. Then after that, few more updates and then none anymore. Forced to use "unofficial" / other region's firmware for latest ROM.
