u need to try out urself as different ppl has different need...
some ppl say Ipad2 more smooth than tab but alot review say tab is smooth as ipad2...
for me, i already have iphone4 and i bored with its interface which lack of customization thus i go for tab..
second reason i go for tab is no need of home button....my iphone 4 home button already become not sensetive and some time not even function
can u imagine ur set is wear off in 1 year just because of the home button which function as exist application and several usage as well
after use it 3 weeks, i still happy buying tab as sometime it real not smooth and of cos u just restart the tab and all going back smooth

1. both equally easy use when u familiar with thier OS
2. copy file from lappy to tab or from tab to lappy, i will say galaxy tab done far better and easy compare to ios....u just plug in ur usb and u are able to search any file in ur galaxy tab without additional software need to install
3. is ur sim card is micro then u need get normal size sim card only ...
4. external memory yes, u need to buy usb plug to attach with ur galaxy tab in order to use other storage.

if previous i flash to custom rom...will my official rom inside tab erase? or the custom rom just install at my storage while official rom still remain..
if i doin hard reset, will the official rom re install into storage and overwrite the custom rom?

i trying using HDMI to DVI adapter seem not working with my tab..
any manage to get it working??

Until now i still happy with my stock rom.
Just some u feel slugish when there is live wallpaper
Other than that it wotk well especially watching live streaming football with the tab.
Can ipad do that... Lol i dun think can lol

any1 having problem when long hour tetthering?
my device seem goes blank, hang or shut down when i leave it long hour tetthering to download torrent ...
when i restart the tab the battery still have half to go...
any1 face this problem?

why my kies cannot detect my tablet after i flash to broadcom..

Update update usually will follow with new device coming up first
If not mistaken maybe Q1 2012 can get our ICS update

i plan to revert back to original latest rom ....
can kies help to restore back to original rom like itune where it will auto download latest rom and update the ipad / iphone

Added on November 8, 2011, 6:40 pmas far as i know, all honeycomb tablet has no call capability.
So tab 7 plus, 7.7, 8.9, 10.1 all are honeycomb model = no call
it mean u cannot make call unless u hack it like i saw it happen on Xoom but not stable.
that is why android come out with ICS.
unless u go for tab 7 and tab 7 and tab 7 plus is different.
