well, i'm using that in windows. it's a lil' troublesome as i need to do the conversion in windows and share the file over to mac. i'd want something independent for mac

Hi guys,

How did you all manage your life and work? Currently im using Ical to record my weekly and monthly plan but i have been keeping the small things checked most of the time. I need to find a good Free application to manage Project with Gantt Chart and also Get Things Done Program to focus on more important work . I need a good graphical interface program that is easily understood .

Ical is superb for me as im able to sync with my iphone but i still need to prioritize the project and errands separately.

Can you guys share with me what application you are running on your mac to focus on priority . thanks.

Have you tried creating a New Calender in iCal, naming it Errands? You can then create to-dos with different colour codes and priorities.

As for Gantt Charts, you could try Numbers - depending on your definition of "free". My current preference is Tom's Planner for Gantt Charts and Bubbl.Us for mind maps.

my area not cover this package cry.gif I did not see the list got cover Ampang, somemore I stay in Apartment, not semi-d

moreoever, MALAYSIA REGISTERED ITUNES ACCOUNT ARE CANNOT DOWNLAOD ANYSONGS....U MUST REGISTER OUT OF MALAYSIA (such as aussie, but make sure u must have aussie address, becoz itunes can detect the address genuine status)

so, even got high broadband also useless... coz apple never set malaysia as primary region list (even singapore also belongs to secondary region list only, u can imagine Malaysia what level lar...)

I'm unfamiliar with the GTD concept, but a quick Google search caught an article off of Merlin Mann's 43 Folders blog regarding the subject. Give that a read if you're interested in the GTD concept and how it ties in with the Mac OSX.

Other options off the first search page include
Omnifocus (for the super duper expensive pro software)
Things

just to share what i found but i prefer to get the views from people who had used it daily and proven. like Ical, Safari and Mail have been my staple program i used everyday.

1) Firefox w/ Noscript, Flashgot
2) iGetter (download manager)
3) Plex/VLC
4) Burn
5) JDownloader (good auto-parsing/queuing download manager for rapidshare files. very sucky interface, if anyone knows an alternative please let me know)
6) Sequential 2 (image/comic viewer)
7) Steam (gaming)
8) Openoffice (cos I'm a cheap mofo!)
9) Adium (messenging)
10) Syncmate (to sync my Windows Mobile contacts with my Mac)
