any comments between the tammy 1750 F2.8 and the sigma 17-70 F2.8-4?
*
i test both... tammy's pic looks cooler while sigma looks warmer...
at the end i bought sigma...

QUOTE(yuhi @ Sep 20 2011, 09:56 PM)
sigma excels in the MFD, only reason I would get sigma is the short minimum focus range (great for some creative shooting as you can get really really close to your subject) and the silent motor (HSM).

yezaaaaaaaaa.......

other than studio zaloon, which shop sell SONY lens at BB plaza, imbi or times square...
i'm searching for 35mm f1.8 , price still around rm600...?

50/30 1.8 is kinda enough...
but 50 1.8 's bokeh is kinda being cut in 1.8...
havent tried 50 1.4 but i saw the review...the colour fringe kinda terrible at 1.4...
above is just my own opinion lar~~

soket: nope, looking at sony roadmap, there wont be a 50mm replacement.

nutz: i shoot at F1.4, and no, the CA is not terrible as how review(or you) claimed to be.

EvanKeat: Eh? Only Sony Style outlets are bound to sell at the Recommended Retail Price. Unless something changed, or you don't get street price from Mr. Chin...

chiahau: There were quite a few Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 Macro owners - craziqbal being one. As for the newer Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.0 Macro HSM I don't remember who has it.

fansoption: Nice composition!

zstan: The Sony 50mm F1.8 DT SAM doesn't have brightline bokeh. It has cat's eye bokeh though.

yes albnok. something has changed in the management and some complaint by others dealers. I think they have force Uncle Chin to go at Recommeded Retail Price.

*Jotes down notes*

But last time I went there, the prices are still reasonable. Oh well, if selling at RRP, means no need bother go there liao.

Still holding out, waiting for January to come xD
