jimlim, one thing i've learnt is that not to judge too early, or as in your case, unless you have a hands on on the actual thing, its best to just let your opinions be neutral. If you have actually tested and doesnt fit your taste, no one can fault u, but its quite clear that you've not, and using images as your assumptions. i'd rather wait and see what suprises is in stored before saying anything. As the saying goes, its best to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

take a moment to think about it.. main audience for the front facing lcd would be for youngsters who camwhore and having a flashgun on camera will be very heavy for that purpose, what more that flashing at that distance will sometimes cause flash over exposure. So what if it blocks partial of the screen when pop up flash is used? Yes it is not ideal, but its still very viewable from the camwhorer's POV. Pros using the a77 will be BEHIND the camera. Not in front of it.
So i beg you not to be so sensitive on this issue and be a 'baby' yourself when you get opposing idea from your own from members here. You came here and gave your idea, we're here to give ours, that's all. Why are you so worked up on it?

Porkchop, I'd rather turn the entire camera to show instead. Less moving parts, less chance of breaking. But well, that could work.

yap, knoe already, just  wonder  how it fully works, ( just know (fren own this spec of alpha) will anti photo blur at fast speed continuous shoot around 12fps , nice contrast & brightness.  hmm.gif )
*
You sure or not 12fps? Unless your friend have the A77 drool.gif

It will not 'anti photo blur' actually. That will depends on your shutter speed.

hmm.gif  agree with that. but even in low light, it can be accurate the shutter speed, more performance than standard alpha device.( need test it, before can proof the truth tongue.gif, hope my friend was a77 whistling.gif  )
*
I don't really get what you mean in the sentence above, but subject movement can only be stopped with a sufficiently high shutter speed. Else, a pop of flash will freeze the subject. With dimmer light, should you wish to freeze your subject, you will need to keep a high shutter speed, which in turn, you'd need to open up your aperture and risk having a shallower depth of field and/or up your ISO which would introduce more noise.

What do you mean by standard alpha device here? Aren't all Alphas by definition, standard? As opposed to a 'pimped up Alpha'? tongue.gif

Because the A65 would be much cheaper than the the A77. It's like A900 vs A850 in the sensor and FPS department, not so in the body design part though. Same sensor but slower frame rates. 10fps is already very good for daily use.

Usage of PASM are all supported. U retain full function of the camera, only thing missing is the lens setting in the exif data.

Your camera can trigger the shutter even you do not put a lens on it. You just have to enable the 'release w/out lens' option somewhere in your menu. Dig around. It's as though you are using an unchipped M42 adapter. As you would already know by now, manual aperture and focus only. Usually, A-mode works best.
