Studio Zaloon is at pudu plaza somewhere behind times square. It's not known to be very cheap there either. Try go walk around BB Plaza, Imbi Plaza, next to Sg Wang for lower prices. Of course it's good to know what price does Zaloon offer before go hunting on your own. And just to let you know, Zaloon usually gets the newer items earlier than the shops out there. That is why they can afford to hike up their prices. If what you are looking for has been out for a while, a lot of shops out there already carry them.

How do u define bokeh being cut at 1.8?

3 of you have the Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.0 Macro HSM? Is it an FF lens or apsc based lens?

It's because the Nex7 isn't officially launched yet? Furthermore, Nex7 was only announced a couple of weeks back. That you said was as of 5th August. So your argument is invalid.

We ARE talking about Sony. Saying how the Nikon 1 came out in the market just like how Sony Nex did and how people laughed at the size of the camera body compared to the lens. And how the Nikon 1 is having a sensor the size of a peanut compared to a walnut sized APS-C sensor on the NEX or even on Alphas for that matter. And that old timer Nikon have no chance in the EVIL-camera division against the new comers which Sony (and Olympus, Panasonic, Samsung... did I miss out any?) has to offer with much larger sensor size. So is it fair to say that Nikon 1's 1200fps VGA sized image will trump over Sony NEX's full resolution 10 fps? I'll let you decide on that Are we not talking about Sony here? I highly doubt it.

They come with colored straps as well! Too bad the NEX doesn't..

Girls care about whether the camera can fit into their purse/handbag or not. PLUS, there's no tiltable/flippable LCD screen.

Well you don't need the OS anyway since our camera bodies are equipped with SteadyShot anyway. Turning OS on will in fact screw things up more.

It doesn't matter if SSS is turned on or off. The view in the OVF shows the OS is running wonky since the camera doesn't communicate with the lens telling it that the SSS is on and the OS should be in turned off. Both will run simultaneously.

1st take a photo without flash. Take note on what is the response like from the moment you press the shutter button till the shutter actually fires.

Then 2nd, put on your flash, take the same shot and take notice of the same sequence.

Thanks yuhi. It was backlit by the evening sunlight from the window.

You'll need to specify what pics u wanna take. So that we wouldn't suggest u to go to crocodile farm when what you wanted is to shoot butterflies.
