Why so? I don't see any major chromatic abberations in those shots.

Furthermore, the current A77 doesn't have the lens profile for that fisheye to do any correction.

zero pp.. apart from cropping
Half a second, still ok for me to handhold the camera for this shot. You just need to have the patience for it. I had my eye in the viewfinder to maintain composition and the other eye open to notice for 1st strike of lightning. Body was leaning against a wall for extra stability (sold my tripod d, no tripod to use). Got this shot in my 2nd try, as I already know where to point the camera at. Just so you know, lightning doesn't appear randomly, they 'travel' quite slowly across the sky.
Your head la... *baling kasut kangg*

somehow...im not sure if its the new sensor or the lens...
the picture produced seems more sensitive to blue/light blue instead of most sony DSLR's RED hmm.gif

Hahaha, don't know... for the things I shoot, there's not much need for color accuracy. As long when it comes out, blue turns out blue, red is red, green is green, orange is not apple, then for me settle already.

My images from A77 doesn't actually turn out particularly cooler than from the A700. Except that now a lot of my shots are a tiny bit underexposed due to the much much wider dynamic range of the sensor when my exposure compensation is at 0 (zero). I was using the body's metering, so it has nothing to do with the translucent mirror. The histogram is smack right in the middle and the peaks are all concentrated in the center - indicating everything is within range. So I have to expose right to get things back to where I want. Then again, I was using matrix metering as opposed to center weighted or spot which could be more precise. Zone focusing is pretty handy where you don't have to cycle along all individual focusing spots to get where you want. It's very precise for everyday use. For the extra finesse, there's always local focus points to choose from.

hmm..but the colour is more saturated than the colour in my raw eyes...
DRO off

maybe...but this is not an issue la...just sharing...because my previous A500 is more sensitive in red colour~
and made red colour's dynamic range very low(no details)
