He was using speakerphone on low volume so that the public will not hear his conversation. The Tab 7 does not have an earpiece for you to hold to your ear. He is just using the speaker phone the way it wasn't meant to be used. User problem and not the phone issue.

They are not exactly the same. You can put the 5.3, Tab 7 and 7.7 under the BIG phone category since they are BIG phones. The 8.9 and 10.1 are tablets as they do not have GSM phone capabilities.

5.3 is closer to a phone, I guess, because it runs of Gingerbread.

8.9 is rumoured to have GSM voice capability, similar to the 7 and 7.7.

he told me is totally same with tab 10.1, just size difference. so ya, kenot make call according to him ;/ ;/

all tabs inclusive 10.1 as long it has simcard then is hardware ready to make call

just google did not put in the telephony function in honeycomb
and sammy maybe evil enough to hardwire disable it

5.3 VS 7.7

I'd rather go for the 7.8mm 7.7 provided it has the telephony feature
btw, does it come together with the S-Pen like 5.3?

i have the 10.1 and when note comes out, i'll sell off my sgs2 for it.

7.7 form factor is more like a big ass phone instead of tablet.

so it's either 5.3 or 7.7 .. if the samsung hasnt come out with this note, most probably i'll buy the 7.7" to replace my 10.1"
