Just as an academic exercise to compare size : the new Galaxy 5.3 " Note ( pink cutting in center ) vs Dell Streak 5 and Galaxy S II. The Note will be slightly wider and slight shorter than the Dell Streak 5
The NOTE is thinner and slimmer at only 9.65 mm thick and only 178 gm ( the Dell Streak 5 is 10 mm thick and weighs 220 gm )

I thought you were going to stop with the SGS2 but it seem like you cant resist the temptation

From the review and video, it looks like a good device and the form factor is just nice.

The 7.7 tab also looks good . Suddenly there's so many choices. I believe year end would be a great time to shop for new phone-tablets/tablets. That is when the new toys will be coming out and we'll be spoilt for choices.

crazy samsung, it is a bit tempting. but this giant should out before ice cream sandwich hits the market. Super AMOLED HD is the best.

Seem HTC is fighting with Samsung...they also coming out with tablet but their price damn expensive compared with Samsung....

Nice device with such a good spec! definitely will get it if the price is right!! I admire the ability of Samsung more and more now lol..

uncle benny why not get the Nexus 3 (Prime) instead?

it'll most probably comes with SAMOLEDHD plus ICS too.
not to mention that its screen size is rumored to be 4.5~4.65.

what i remember uncle benny love his dell streak 5 so much after he sell his streak once again he bought dell streak again bcoz of 5inch size.... dats why i think he more interested to this new gadget.....

but for me i like the S PEN dats function like htc flyer pen im also think will get this toy if avaible in msia one day

hmm, I think this Note is a new category of product like Samsung said during its press event.
it definitely replaces the Dell Streak 5, but IMO not the SGS2.

this phone is seriously awesome.. looks like i've to cancel my planning to keep my sgs2 till next year..

+1 im absolutely AGREE with what u said never can be replace sgs2 in smartphone category what i like about it remind me a notepad (not a4 notepad size) that pocket size can fit to ur pocket.... and ita ability to doodle like flyer....

ONE reason : the 5.3 inch screen. I like BIG display. That is the main reason I still use my Dell Streak. After I bought my 7" Tab, I sold off the Streak. A month later I bought back a new unit - thought I could let it go using the SGS II but I was wrong. The SGS II is only a "play" phone - testing roms , assessing performance etc . My main phone is still the Dell Streak 5

Here the NOTE offers me the best of both world : Dell Streak size screen with Samsung SGS II performance. A dream come true - a 2-1 solution
