QUOTE(ikram_p @ Apr 12 2012, 06:39 PM) the new wish is more towards mpv, kan...how about tht new honda stream, is tht mpv/car or just mpv. no need to be so confusing, if u really want car, just go ahead and get 1, stop looking at MPV....."car-like" this and "car-like" that doesnt always means good.... Mitsu Triton is already an example, bad one..... (but of coz u can say that is a pickup, not MPV) |

NBTD..., just wanna post more complains about Alza from other webbies...
Just read the comments from Mar 2010 to Mar 2012 (bugger...! People still complaining of issues despite having Alzas on the streets for over 2 years already): http://www.wheel-o-sophy.com/2010/03/07/pe...ssues-problems/ Long story short, DO NOT BUY ALZA, OR YOU LIVE TO REGRET IT....!!! Don't risk your lives, or the lives of your loved ones with this car... wtm0325, can we start a list of webbies with all those comments on issues with this car on your top post...? |

Anyway I just installed Ultra Racing front strut bar today The mod for my car atm, coil spring buffer each spring + front strut bar + CC5 tyre, handling (easier to control car) is so much better. Ride is firm but not harsh, still comfort (from drivers point of view) The next thing to improve is soundproofing.. Gonna study more and DIY.. Looking forward to spend only RM200 for material.. |

I thought you did soundproofing already...Let me know when you wanna DIY... I wanna DIY to add more material over the existing SP treatments... btw, how much you pay for the front strut bar installation...? This post has been edited by Eithanius: Apr 14 2012, 01:30 AM |

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Apr 14 2012, 01:29 AM) I thought you did soundproofing already... Yup. DIY my soundproof on front bonnet, 5 doors and roof. No satisfied the result enough. Let me know when you wanna DIY... I wanna DIY to add more material over the existing SP treatments... btw, how much you pay for the front strut bar installation...? Thinking to DIY again at: 1) 5 door 2) 4 Fender 3) Firewall area (Under wiper) 4) And rectify some "nyet nyet" sound from passenger seat If you don't mind to come over around my area (Puchong/Old Klang Road), we can do together Ultra Racing Front Strut Bar RM120 with installation. This one better let foreman do because need to dismantle the viper and the whole bay as the alza engine bay is very cramp. I did it here: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1881312&hl= Yours may feel too firm with front strut bar because your car is already injected with auto foam |

QUOTE(chicken7 @ Apr 17 2012, 11:37 AM) hmm really wonder if the front strut bar really work or not? Not sure though, but my alza has clocked 40k and 1.5 years, there's a difference. I drive like bull, won't slow down much on cornering and bumper, always in racing with other cars (coz petrol is free last time I put hotbits strutbar front and rear for satria 1.8, can' t feel the difference. then put UR rear ARB on myvi (forgot the diameter) I think it was 15mm, also can' t really feel the difference. that' s why I still putting off the decision to install these bars (added weight) on my alza. alza oledi come with rear ARB (looks like 15mm) but UR is making 18mm and 23mm version. gonna try the AMT spring buffer later. already bought from lelong.com.my but have not install yet. Before strut bar and coil spring buffer, cornering scare it'll skid, now same speed feel safe, maybe psychology myth |

CC5 still lesser grip right...?Before strut bar and coil spring buffer, cornering scare it'll skid, now same speed feel safe, maybe psychology myth Later on I'm gonna try foaming side sills, see if can improve further on ride... |
