Hd change boot lockset FOC, stil under waranty. SC next to jaya 1.
about the roof noise, they make an order fr HQ for the parts/isnulation.
it is free & consider defect waranty.

I ask SC to the roof isolation for me also .. but regret becoz I DIY after that.

those material easy burning type and hard to pear off completely ... so my own sound proof material can't apply accordingly on roof doh.gif

from your experience with the diy roof insulation,
does it really make the rain drops on roof much softer/unnoticeable?

still thinking wanna DIY the roof insulator or not
want to know whether worth it to take trouble remove the ceiling cover.
worry may break a few clips.

worth, confirmed.

it just my case, the original roof can't clean up completely .. even use of thinner.

but other members ok.

actually i'm sure most of us here notice rain drop on front wind screen sound louder doh.gif haha.

but with 4 doors sound proof it really got different thumbup.gif

I no follow them taking off the white sponge thingy on the roof, i just make it remain + the superlon = double layer.

As now, the best sound proof i ever did was the roof brows.gif

hmm... so it is worth to insulate the roof huh!
looks like it is time to go shop for some superlon.
prefer those with self adhesive.

so far I have done are
1. change tyres cc5
2. door insulator + bonnet insulator
3. ? - maybe roof or replace the speakers

yes, i also notice rain drops on front windscreen is louder than the roof

Good to know you are getting an Alza. I have one too, wife driving it for 4 months now and no problems at all. At 110km/h it's about 2.8k
rpm. Very silent and steady compared to Myvi.

Persona gonna phase out soon and Saga FLX has a very bad interior design (too much cheap plastic).

Good choice and welcome to the club.

I'm sure you can calculate by percentage depreciation per annum... they both have different price structure...

if you really wanna buy this car, then I'll be the first to welcome you to this club...

Welcome bro smile.gif

1st thing to do.. PRAY tongue.gif

Not because your Alza may got problem, it is "IF" you bad luck .. buying BMW or even Ferrari also can face problem.
( last weekend a Ferrari engine burn at highway right? sweat.gif )

for the RPM reading you can refer here.

for my Alza Premium AT, previously was 100km/h RPM 2800-2900. Not sure since when become RPM2500 for 100km/h. So 110km/h just slightly higher.

Manual will be higher RPM @100KM/h.

it really depends when comes to this high resale value issue.
so far myvi is pretty good in resale value,
not sure bout alza, heard 2010 alza ~48k only, but not many selling in motortrader
of course best resale value still vios, civic & corolla(altis)

i bought 1.3 Myvi manual RM45k yr 2006, tradein last month, RM24k.
>50% resale after 6yrs. quickly trade in and got an alza.

alza pretty quiet (to my standard), handling better than myvi.
more stable cruising on highway, maybe its long wheel base.
of course sure got some tikus noise here and there with so much plastic interior.

mine still <1000km,
rpm slightly <3000 at 110km/h
waiting for 1st service very soon.

Me premium version, need to top up about 7K +/- for advance.

Bodykit can get around RM600 from MAOC my buddies shop.
Leather around RM1K-RM2K depend type.
Reverse camera just get a Double Din player + the camera < RM1K also can get.
GPS ? hehe, u can use phone GPS, portable GPS or add another RM600-800 to let your Double Din function as GPS.

so ? brows.gif

End up I still driving premium version without bodykit/gps/leather.

Only add D.Din + Reverse camera laugh.gif
