I've been reading this thread from 1st page to here. Only person that complains about the car is Eithanius.

I can then conclude that this car should be quite ok, only 1 person complains about it. Every car also got defect, probably he's unlucky.

Good to know you are getting an Alza. I have one too, wife driving it for 4 months now and no problems at all. At 110km/h it's about 2.8k
rpm. Very silent and steady compared to Myvi.

Persona gonna phase out soon and Saga FLX has a very bad interior design (too much cheap plastic).

Good choice and welcome to the club.

I have been driving an Alza for 6 months and I would say it's a great car for the price. Let's not talk AP and all that here, but looking at current market conditions, it's the cheapest MPV for 60k plus budget.

At the same time, lets be realistic. It's not BMW quality and let's not compare Exora which is 80k (1/3 more expensive).

If you are looking for a decent ride with about 5 in a family, occasionally carrying 6-7, this is a good car. 6-7 is the max it can carry with no extra space for luggage. It's no Estima or Alphard.

Maintenance wise, it's cheap and the quality is ok.

End of the day, do test drive it yourself and you decide the pros and cons. Exora in all aspects have better specs, but don't forget it costs 20k more. I would rather put 20k downpayment, loan 40k and pay off in 5 years.

darknight6070, read through the entire post, you will realize only Eithanius has major problems with his car, the majority of us are quite happy with it.

Mine's been going good for almost 1 year now, wife drives it to work everyday. Don't expect continental feel but it's reliable and spare parts are cheap and available.

This joker Eithanius has been condemning Alza for years now, before I bought my Alza he already condemning it, then welcome me with his stupid nightmare phrase. Now my Alza 1 year old with no problems, he's still here condemning it.

He should be the moderator of this thread la, I believe he really loves his Alza very much if not he won't bother checking this thread everyday.

I totally agree with gamenoob, my Alza is my first Perodua, it's way better than my Peugeot and Protons I have owned previously. Not to mention, their service center is top class with good customer service.

Peugeot's SC nowhere near Perodua's service level.
