I think it cost around RM 260/pcs including alignment and balancing..
Well.. XM 2 is a soft tyre tyre.
For me comfort is the tyre produce less noise, a smoother drive on bumpy road, and it won't fell float during cruising at normal highway speed

My previous car all while I used fully synthetic after my 5k service but I change every 5-6k interval
What are the oil grade? 5W-30?

I'm using XM2 almost 1 year.

better than original as specially during wet weather. this is not performance tyre. but overall use very good blush.gif

I think the old model XM1 much soft and comfort compare to XM2. but no choice now all XM2.

this model build to last longer. so consider a bit "hard" if compare to its brand other tyre. still much better than ori nod.gif

since your budget is RM900. then shd top up a bit.

last year i bought was RM225 x 4 including balancing. Alightment add RM25

some other will recommend CC5 due to comfort, but I personally prefer XM2 because I read a lot negative feedback using CC5 after some times. If most of the time city drive CC5 very suitable (shd be quiet then XM2). If always outstation then pls be-careful after 2 years use.

hi guys, did your alza have this brake auto lock ?

means step on the brakes, then all door central lock will auto lock.

Mine does, subsequent batches no more... starting from 2012 onwards I think, or maybe earlier...

It's a good thing it does not auto-lock... Kena langgar catches fire, at least the risk of getting roasted and toasted is minimal... tongue.gif

How much does it cost to have it installed? The auto lock is just a wiring or it comes with the buzzer?

Auto-lock has it advantages and disadvantages. The disadvantage is it is mechanical, so it cannot identify when you DO NOT want auto-lock. I guess someone must come up with a smarter auto-lock.

43k after 9 months, wow... living on the road?

The earlier batch alza has auto-lock but no buzzer. I add one costing rm50, and now it sounds weird. Spoils after one year use. But at least still have sound, so I let it be.
