hi guys, did your alza have this brake auto lock ?
means step on the brakes, then all door central lock will auto lock. |

QUOTE(darkdevilrey @ Aug 4 2013, 02:54 PM) hi guys, did your alza have this brake auto lock ? Mine does, subsequent batches no more... starting from 2012 onwards I think, or maybe earlier...means step on the brakes, then all door central lock will auto lock. It's a good thing it does not auto-lock... Kena langgar catches fire, at least the risk of getting roasted and toasted is minimal... |

Auto-lock has it advantages and disadvantages. The disadvantage is it is mechanical, so it cannot identify when you DO NOT want auto-lock. I guess someone must come up with a smarter auto-lock.
43k after 9 months, wow... living on the road? |

QUOTE(emkay @ Aug 4 2013, 04:44 PM) How much does it cost to have it installed? The auto lock is just a wiring or it comes with the buzzer? QUOTE(darkdevilrey @ Aug 4 2013, 04:52 PM) how much it cost bro ? Honestly, I can't remember how much does it cost.. because i find it very inconvenience, need to lock the door manually everytime, unlike conventional step on brake, then auto lock liao. I pay together with horn installation and german maestro component speaker It come with buzzer as well. You can pm Howie for more details |

The earlier batch alza has auto-lock but no buzzer. I add one costing rm50, and now it sounds weird. Spoils after one year use. But at least still have sound, so I let it be.

QUOTE(tyenfei @ Aug 5 2013, 10:40 AM) all P2 car no buzzer. Is it a new regulation or trend not to have buzzer? Last time one can choose whether to enable or disable it. P1 warranty is very weird. You can't installed alloy rims from the same model cause it will void the warranty but you can install brake pad from different model. Go figure.actually I notice my friend's Inspira also. We still can spent $$ and add in P2 SC. But my friend's inspira SC told him no such option, if add 3rd party void warranty. My fren X gear have nice factory equipped security system. 1st. buzzer beep only unlock the driver's door. 2nd. press unlock all passenger doors and 3rd press unlock the rear door. |
