oh ya...previously bought in bulk of soundproof pads when I just did a installation for new myvi with foaming and custom LEDs on legrooms+glovebox.

The pads are just RM250 only for 4 doors.
It consists of 14 x A pads and 20 x B Pads.

Front door = 3 x A pads + 5 x B pads.
Rear door = 4 x A pads + 5 x B pads.

Interested just PM me.

Fordable .. manually.

I saw someone change it to Jazz side mirror with all the control. So become semi auto. Press a button to control close or expend.

So sorry, late reply. These are the pix of the pads installed onto the inner doors.:

Myvi Lagi Best user posted image

Alza - user posted imageuser posted image

Just take out the door panels, and stick the pads firmly on it as shown.

The pads as mentioned in my previous posts, just spread it out evenly by sticking on it. thumbup.gif

There are few areas to look into for wind noise. If it is driver side, u can look and the weather strip on the outside of the door.. there is a gap open at the end. Near the side mirror.

i notice the clarity of sound since last week but could not be bother. Enjoy revving the engine. Fuel saving as well. You can see the rpm drop to 1.5 - 2k when cruising in highest gear. icon_rolleyes.gif

Can try actually..no harm...
But the weatherstrip atas tu, mostly under hot sun daily, the rubber shrinked abit, hence the gap opens. It is just between the small window and big window. The strip affected is the big window's weatherstip.
I try take a pix of that later.

When there is a gap, it opens up, so when we drive at higher speed, the wind swearing noise appears, like huricane.
So put a black bitumen there wld stop the huricane (perodua service did that for me).

Then later, the other end has the wind noise dah, so same method I use, and it works.

Just to add, that there is a lubang/open are from front fender to the front door, if we can 'seal off' that part, it shld be great. I belum try lagi.

You meant these..?

Attached Image Attached Image

Left one is DIY, right one is residue from the DIY... doh.gif

I spoke to Perodua in USJ 1 that day, they recommended the same solution - apply some paste. I seriously don't know what Perodua Rawang guys are doing... Changed that 3 times and still couldn't get it right... Perodua ASP under DMM in Shah Alam had the right solution but applied the wrong procedure...

YES.. this is the place... the SC changed to a new strip and added black paste.. I think is bitumen paste like the one sticking the plastic sheet in doors. Then solve the problem.

Complained many times... It's either wind goes in, or rain water goes in... In the case of rain water, can't imagine how the rust would be like inside the unpainted body panel... shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

Rain water will go in somehow or rather... but in there, it is coated with rust proofing as what i can see.. very thin one. hehe. That is why at the bottom of the door, there are holes to let water out.. which has black stains.

But the wind noise can be annoying until like huricane. I on until volume 13 also can hear the wind... lucky they fix for me..

There are a little wind noise when I drive above 120. When I open my door, the door hinge area, I can see thru a hole to the front fender.. i think i try do some thing on that.
