It's going to be an exciting match this weekend for Arsenal. I'm still waiting to see who will be in the starting line up this weekend. Arteta should be going straight into the line up together with Santos I believe. Arteta with the playmaker role should be exciting stuff for us. Hopefully it's gonna be GOALS GOALS GOALS this weekend for the Gunners!

If the salary structure is not revised, experienced players will leave to clubs that can afford to pay more.
It is just like a company who can offered competitive salary will always be able to sustain their employee. I'm happy with the current new recruits. Of course, not only me but i'm sure other gooners fans too will be ecstatic if Arenal managed to sign big players like Sneijder, Honda and all those players u mentioned, but it will never happen as all of us know Arsenal will never afford their pay, therefore we can only dream. Players like RVP shud be rewarded with a competitive salary for his loyalty and his performance. I don't think it will be lot to give some increment to players who performs. Er, yes we don't have sugar daddies but we have stingy daddies! CODE In April 2010, business magazine Forbes ranked Arsenal as the third most valuable football team in the world, after Manchester United and Real Madrid, valuing the club at $1.181bn (£768m), excluding debt.[2] - wikipediaStan is a businessman and he must be crazy if he wants to leave Arsenal. As long as Wenger is the manager, Arsenal will never be like Leeds or Newcastle. btw are u telling me to jump ship to MC b'cos i'm complaining? If i want to jump ship, WHY SHOULD I BE POSTING HERE???? |

I believe that squad addition is important every season. It keeps everyone in the squad striving hard to maintain their starting position. With quality players, the squad will benefit from the experience playing together.
Wenger had lots of faith in the youth but to my opinion, the youth basically doesn't have the mental strength. It's normal to see Arsenal flying high till around end of January every season. That's when they crumble and fall and if they are lucky, they will be able to pick themselves up but most of the time like last season, there wasn't much impact. With quality players and enough experienced squad players, Wenger could have done rotation and allow other players some rest to carry on the season. I believe you can't stick to Rosicky or Arshavin for the whole season right? Haha. I think it's time for some players to move on also as their contribution levels on the pitch are not up to par. Anyways, I'm hoping that Arsenal will pick themselves up and start a new season with Swansea. I'm hoping for a bang and Arsenal coming out of the match with lots of goals and great teamwork. Go Gunners! |

I said I won't bothered to reply but just to make sure, I said if you want to see mega transfer, you should jump ship and not because you are complaining. Complaining is good as long as the usage of brain is used. And like you said, as long as Wenger is the manager, you will not see those mega transfer like Man City.It is just like a company who can offered competitive salary will always be able to sustain their employee. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not aiming at anyone. Just want to share some Arsenal way of football management
1. Please do not take away AW's credit for making Arsenal one of the elite clubs (despite not winning trophy for 6 years) 2. It is ALWAYS AW's and Arsenal's policy to be conservative in spending. Please refer to Point 1 again Although the whole football business is different now and football clubs should be more aggressive in spending, please let AW and AFC to decide if we should change/adapt to it to ... and how-to. |

I'm sure my clicking of the refresh button a million times a night on the last 2 or 3 days of the transfer window contributed to that 70 million plus page views

QUOTE(JoyLee1055 @ Sep 8 2011, 04:43 PM) I think Arsenal is the only footbaall club in EPL to have 2 billionaires owners and yet the most stingy club. It is high time to restructure the players salary structure to be more competitive with other clubs. but who wants to pump own money into the club if he is not 100% owner?Usmanov is even richer than Abramovich (chelsea). Stan is definitely richer than Henry (liverpool). Other owners will dunp in money to buy new players and restructure the players's salary. Arsenal only noe how to make a profit out of the players they sold and the money from the sale will have to fund the players salary. Beside that every season they will increase the ticket price. so rich & yet so stingy. |

aku agak tak berapa senang dengan kekerapan komen jenis menyuruh rakan Gooners menyokong kelab lain yang agak selalu digunakan di dalam topik AST. apakah memang perlu kita melontarkan komen sebegitu sesama kita?
