Sczesny-Award shows supporters believe in
The support of the Arsenal fans has helped Wojciech Szczesny shrug off conceding eight goals at Old Trafford. The young goalkeeper was voted player of the month for August after some impressive displays between the posts for the Gunners – despite letting in ten goals along the way. Szczesny revealed his delight at the accolade, and also showed his appreciation to the Arsenal faithful for their continued support. “I am very happy that the fans appreciate what I did last month,” he said. “It's great to get that award. “Does it make a difference if I let in eight goals or not? For me it doesn't. The fans are so confident in me and believe in me and I am very thankful that they voted for me.” The Polish international kept a clean sheet on Saturday as Arsenal registered their first Premier League victory of the season against Swansea, and hailed the Arsenal defence for a strong display. “We were pleased to get the win which was the most important thing, and me personally I am very happy with the clean sheet as well,” he added. “Our backline did well today.” Szczesny admitted he was under no illusions of the team’s disappointing start to the campaign, but says it is all part and parcel of life in the Premier League. “It has been strange in a way, but that's the life of a footballer. “Sometimes there are ups, sometimes there are downs and you have to deal with them.” see.i told you guys already.don't stop supporting the team.our support gives them the confidence they need.they do make mistakes but us as the supporters are the one who pick them back up. it's UCL.not EPL.i think theo can play better against european opponent instead of english opponent.plus,we're playing against attacking opponent that play in their own soil.they might get caught in fast counter attack which theo flourish the most.

good enough for me.the germans deserved it for all the attacks they poured in.we don't deserve a win IMO with that kind of performance.

i think walcott was too eager to show what he capable of but often lose it easily.can see from all of his touches and runs.he wanted to show that he can shoot or run but sadly the eagerness bite him back.he need to calm down when on the pitch.comparing him and king henry, the later look so much composed and calm with the ball, when he runs and when he shoot.im hoping to see him on the bench this weekend with gervinho and andy back on the flanks.
talking about gervinho, his dribbling is very good but sadly he easily lost his balance.a slight of touch can make him lose his footing.look at his 1 on 1 chance last night.the defender just pressured him a bit but he look like he's going down already.might be accused of diving in the future.oh wait.he's already been. kos is a revelation for us so far.great positioning, interceptions and closing opponents.him and big per is working good.hope this can go on until we got vermy back.now, let's see how these two work against long ball-philic opponent this weekend. |
