yea Szczesny is definitely our no. 1 gk.

he had improved tremendously.

er, i saw the highlights of the poland vs germany match at http://www.jazayer.com/poland-vs-germany-2...riendly-060911/

it looks like it was no. 20 fault for the 2 goals that was scored.

yea no doubt Mertasacker looked slow and he didn't track back when the polish guy was running very fast.
The germans played as a team and the players were defending as a team.
I hope the gooners will do the same against Swansea and no player jogging or dreaming.

germany no. 13, 9 & 19 are good.

hey i'm a germany fan and of course i'm bias............ icon_rolleyes.gif

any comments on Mertsacker's poor performance in Poland vs Germany?

is he really that bad?

Usual tactic deployed by journalist to generate more traffic and comment in their website. 76 caps doesn't came by accident, plus Germany is one of Europe heavyweights. So if Mertesacker isn't good enough i'm sure he won't capped as much as that.

Wait till you see the saves he made on that same night against Germany.  notworthy.gif

Edit: Btw good news. Cameroon has all but failed to qualify for next year's ACN. Song will be available all season. So we will only lose Gervinho, Frimpong and Chamakh in January.

really really impressed with him, especially after letting in 8 goals from MU - very strong comeback (mentality) flex.gif

Arsene as well because Arsene intro him to the team and ppl at 1st say he gonna flop, why wan use so young keeper, sure die one, but it proves that Arsene brings in the right person smile.gif

man utd scored 8 goals but none are szcezsny's mistake..

all are either world class goals or defender's mistake..

imagine if it was almunia between the post, man utd could have score 10 goals+ laugh.gif

Rooney's second free kick was his fault.

the ball beat the wall and went into the corner...
it was well-taken free kick, so i don't consider that as keeper mistake..

If the team concede 8 goals in a game, at least 1 of it must be the gk mistake, cannot blame all to the defender...

you are right according to common sense, but in fact none is GK mistake in this game... sweat.gif

1st goal - welbeck's close range header goal, bad marking from djourou
2nd goal - young's world class goal
3rd goal - rooney's world class free kick goal
4th goal - another rooney's well-taken free kick goal
5th goal - one-on-one goal from nani, failed offside trap
6th goal - goal from un-marked park jisung, terrible marking/positioning from djourou
7th goal - penalty, fouled by walcott on evra
8th goal - goal from un-marked young at the edge of area, where were the midfields?

Its a good motivational speech for his team but we should just keep it till the end of the game on our part. We had strengthened our team and they will be the first team for us to test out our new players. The game can still goes either way but I believe we can take them down and the next match will be the match for our newly bought players to prove themselves and guess they all will like to be love by the fans.
