If you want that configuration, look at Lenovo Y470. You can have mSATA SSD, HDD and ODD at the same time.

so we need to disassemble up the whole thing to see whether there are another sata interface? or we need to solder ourself tongue.gif

Who knows, maybe SG already gets a new revision which solved the issue.
Lets wait for review rclxms.gif

Do some reverse engineering, replace the SATA controller and run raid brows.gif

ya well, those who don play latest game probably won't know about the problem. Those who don really know much about hardware probably thought gt555m simply cannot support the game. those who don play games at all won't even know the problem exist. So whatever left over is really a minority group.... let's just keep our finger crossed asus come up with a solution soon

i won't keep my hope high on that, considering our laptop are quite packed. Well maybe N55sf can, but really low chance for 45sf to have one...

Seems standard..
You can always check your ODD model on device manager and google its info.

You need to check whether its a 9.5mm or 12.7mm thick and the port, SATA or PATA.
The rest should be no problem..

Just check the name under DVD/CD-ROM, no need to go properties.
