actually lidat ar
if power brick 120W works

means:

inside..... the circuitry for power management is in deep shyt.... it still can work.. but i no idea wil it last. or wun hav any effect...
also.

the battery wil be useless for gaming... it is designed for 90W only.. so stilllll all comes back to the ORIGINAL probnlem....
1)software problem... if this is so and bios could solve it. gratz..

2)hardware problem... hope asus would issue a recall OR at least say those affected can go service center change the internals....
the 120W is just for temporary/circumventing the main problem.. which is asus f***ed up somewhr in the design of asus n45sf
they designed it to run on 90W.... it should be able to....

but just scare they affraid to admit their fault. Coz not ALL users complain to them. We are just a small bunch of number. They might just ignore us at all. Probably end this shit by giving us 'F*** OFF" mad.gif

i doubt call to service centre will help. They can just ignore or throw u like'we got no n45sf here to test with'. Coz they just think they are much better than us in these IT stuff but they DONT. KongorJr will go to the service centre again next week and he will show them the problem again right in their faces. And i asked him to demand the service centre to test with a 120W power brick also

dem...after almost three years of using eepc and finally getting my hands on one nicely-spec n45 and finally able to play some nice games...having this problems pulak. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood in Battery Saving mode plays better than High Performance. Really hope ASUS gonna do sumthing about this.

ya it plays better. but still laggy. Do u happen to have a 120W power brick? If u do, do u mind test it out? Play games with the 120W power supply? Coz this case very likely is power insufficient

@htpkevin
Could you do me a favor and mod the VGA driver for me and upload it if you have enough time and a good internet connection?
I tried to do that but I did not understand how to do it.
