Driver part, yes everything.
The software, only the Wireless Console3 and ATK is required, the rest is optional..

285.62 is referring to the nVidia driver.

ATTENTION TO N55/N45 owner:

Please do not install the optional KB2607576 update coz it made the multimedia key not functioning.. wink.gif

Had installed it and got solved by windows restore instead of reinstalling ATK...

Windows 7 is still buggy doh.gif

From Disk Management, can you still see the hidden partition?
When booting the notebook, pressing F9, does it start the recovery ?

yeah, actually after the first fail attemp of using the AI recovery,
there's an additional partition call the RECOVERY appeared in My Computer,
before this I couldn't see this partition...now even I restart the comp,
the partition is still shown, to be safe I copied all the files in that partition to an ext-harddisk
and launching the AI recovery software would just
give me the message "partition not found".

do you know how do I solve this? enlighten me pls thanks!

what is the update about, i am not sure if i have install it, i just let the windows update by its own.

but my function key still working ok.

the partition should be already come with the laptop, possible to corrupt? if you are near to the shop can ask them settle for you. or just get a win 7 copy, download the driver from asus web, better than the recovery, at least for me, since the recovery thingy comes with too much craps inside...

Can't find solution for that..
I guess better forget the recovery and download Win 7 ISO and use it for clean install.
You can use serial key on bottom notebook to activate it or backup the certificate...
