They must recall all N45SFs and they know what is the problem but they are trying to reduce the problem and say we solved it to avoid changing any laptop.

i think they are trying to save money le
once they found out they are actually suppose to provide N45SF with 120W adapter......but they came out with another idea. Mod the BIOS and tell us problem solve. Just my opinion biggrin.gif

I think the problem is worse than that and in my opinion even 120W power brick cannot solve the problem and probably Mainboard or VGA must be changed.

I feel that it's not power adapter problem seeing how N55SF working fine.Even a new bios which Asus said will definitely solved the problem didnt even completely solve it.Sounds like a plot to cover up the hardware problem hmm.gif

Hmm.....if it was me, I'd use those Dyson air multipliers to direct the fan at the laptop. It's good I'd say.

Really no vents at the bottom? FUUUUUU.

So....even if we were to use a cooler....you'd have to open up the bottom cover....

You're probably running the Intel graphics instead of the GT555....I'm not sure how to help...you'd have to wait for someone who actually uses the laptop to help you. Sorry. sad.gif

yup it's running on intel's GPU alright.....cause req for NFS HP is quite low actually.

anyway, if you wanna make it run on GT555M, refer to my screenshot that simon posted on the 1st page
look for Refer to following screenshots (how to Permanently run SPECIFIC GAMES on Nvidia)
