i lol'ed hard at one of the comments on the sun:

"Arsene's recruiting tactics remind me of the low budget fruit shopper who lives it to the last 15 minutes of shopping time searching through the half rotting left overs hoping to find quality product at a fire sale price! This kind of shopper generally ends up paying full price for what nobody else wants. A bit sad to see a great club scavanging amongst the left overs at closing time. Good luck Arsenal, hope to see you in the PL next season!"

I don't think wages for bendtner n diaby is that high. AC milan physio? Yeah their team docs seems to have miracle working with old tired legs and keeping them going well into their 30s. Hehehehe

Malouda would be a good addition. However I'm quite skeptic about yossi, sure he's good but can he stay healthy..oppss its arsenal we're talking bout... Fit right in!

I hope djourou learnt from his mistakes the last game. Fans aren't that forgiving nowadays.

Exciting days today n tomoro..

Oh wtf scott dann wanna go qpr?

Djourou used to be mentored by Senderos/Campbell but he's not up to par atm. Big sigh!
Scott Dann is good too, but i think Baines is second after Cahill hehe

I like Frimpong's playing style and definitely he'll be a good attacking midfielder. Perhaps Arsenal will thrash Swansea badly come 10th Sept! hehe

What are you doing with all the cash, Arsenal?
Arsenal have generated £66.5m from the sale of five players this summer, but so far they have only reinvested £23.6m in three forwards.
That policy follows a familiar pattern, with Arsenal receiving £219m in transfer fees since their last trophy win but spending only £146m.
The club prides itself on being financially prudent, but this policy is increasingly frustrating fans.
Tellingly, Wenger has spent only £31m on five defenders in six years while more than £100m has been spent on attackers.

Money =/= success

If money = success, then who will win if everyone spend an amount of money? The one that spend the most? Spuds under Harry had spent a lot through out his time at there. Success?

Look around the world and you will see, not all clubs that spend a lot of money are guaranteed success. There is still other elements to be considered.

I hope Im wrong but if he can squeeze in Santos and sneak in Benayoun or Alex (Malouda is a little too far fetched) that would be an achievement. The Cahill saga will end up in heartbreak just like Schwarzer last Jan (Again when Wenger doesnt want to spend 5 million for a Premiership class keeper but 15 million for some ****ing teenager from Southampton, I wont be surprised if nothing is done by transfer window deadline).
