no problem wan la smoke come out..

mayb this time u ride straight road very long leh..? then u seldom brake.. or u ride slow.. brake little bit also wont so hot wan..

and smoke coming out definitely is normal case.. if got smoke it proves ur disc brake is normal..  icon_rolleyes.gif

actually...its not preferable to wash ur car right after the drive...when u splash water to the disc brake...it will cause the disc brake to dent...according to my foreman...then..u might need to skim ur disc brake...
overall..it will be best if u let ur car to "cool down" before washing...
well..thats juz my 2 cents...

QUOTE(Aaron135LC @ Sep 19 2011, 09:40 PM)
i also dunno about this.. sometimes right..

it depends on the person doing ur car.. safety level is 50% thread usage need to change new one.. correct me if i wrong..

but as far as i know.. those sports car need to do that.. even mpv also need.. the place i went for my sis wan window tinting place.. is also a rim shop for luxury brand of car.. i saw so many sets of 50% thread used tires there.. i see still so new.. already change.. rclxub.gif  rich arrr

changing a new tyre is the best choice if u wan to have a safe ride....
additionally, changing a new tyre will help especially if u are prone to travel during raining time...

hi guys,

i'm thinking of getting these new 14" rims for my car. i'm not a speed junkie or anything so it's mostly for cosmetic purpose. Is Rm600 for 4 pieces considered a good deal? Please share your thoughts. Thanks! smile.gif

No idea if it's a good deal but for that Rim... What colour is your Myvi? If it's white, I think it will suit it really well

Just changed my LB Myvi tyres to 195/55/15.
I can say that the the performance and comfort is way better than the stock ones.

Lol, maybe not that serious as compared to directly splash water on it. Because normally on road, those water can't really directly splash into the disc brakes since there's a rim to block it lol
