I am new here..Just done 30k km with my myvi,,I've got few questions..

1. Do we have to change cabin filter (RM28.80) every 10,000 km?
2. I refused to change spark plug this time since I just changed when I was doing major service @ 20,000 km. What you guys think bout dis?

did everything except k&n air filter . cornering okay laa . but still at standard suspensions . going to change after this . im using blue pivot raizin , FC improve better and response syiok

Anyone change gearbox before?
I feel like changing mine form auto to manual.
Any suggest?

Well, I don't think it's common to change gearbox like Auto to Manual. It's quite complicated I guess. Btw what made you think of changing from Auto to Manual? For more power & more Fuel Efficient?

1. cabin/air con filter can get easily around RM12-15 from LYN garage sales...
2. a stock spark plug usually can use up to 20k-30k km without any problems... otherwise got for iridium spark plug as it can last 100k km as claimed...


no so adviseable and the hassle of replacement now and future..
perhaps consider for new myvi LB manual instead?

I just got my myvi last year september...A bit regret now haha...

But still, What's the reason that made you wanting to change to a Manual Transmission?

Better fc and just like manual,can play around with gears...

Mine is manual full tank can go 400km town driving 80%city 20%highway for Ron 95 around rm60-65. If full highway I tested 550km in full tank from Pj to cyberjaya use it for 2 weeks...

mine RM50 around 450km, about 16-17km/L with manual, driving around klang valley only...

perhaps wait for ur next car and take manual instead...

since ur car just about 1 years old only... i think no point to get 2nd hand GB to install on ur new myvi...
somemore ur car still got warranty too...

Anyone can clarify if the new MyVi 2011 Lagi Best comes with a cabin filter? As I know, my sis' first gen did not come with it.

Change my piping to 2inch pipe, good response in pick up plus got shhh sound when at higher torque....

Now i want to ask what is the best setup for the extractor and also rear muffler....i want bassy and letup2 sound...like that...

all myvi doesnt come with cabin filter...

but u can purchase the cabin filter @ Rm12-15 from LYN forumer SAMHOW

Hi guys,

New owner of Elegance LB(black) reporting in.

Need some inputs from you guys on what need to be done with the car.

Mainly I m thinking of changing the rims n tyres.
And the sound quality of the speakers are really bad and the touch screen player is not so impressive.

What is a MUST/recommended upgrade/installation that should be done to Myvi?
