Sorry tumpang a bit to check on the new Myvi. Was an owner of the 2005 version but I sold it off and I still see my name in the owners list! But now looking to get the 2011 version for wife so..how's the car doing with its new owners? Had pretty bad experience with mine back in 2008 so I hope P2 made some progress on the QC/QA dept with this new Myvi.

Its for real...should be coming soon. Looks very nice actually

hi bro, my LB is treating me quite well. no problems so far.

ride's nice & comfy, not too much road noise, and the 2-tone interior is simple and straight forward; no odd angles or silly curves.

the speakers are a dissappointment though.

speaking of QC ar, any LB owners here got a service-advice-thingy letter? got mine last week; told me to bring that letter when i do my next servicing for the techs to do some checking on some loose wiring.

that's a bit of a dent in P2's QA/QC score, eh?

Yea the speakers are really disappointing, no bass at all, going to change my speaker... hahaha
Another disappointment is the air-con compressor, the compressor kick it frequently and u can hear it inside the car when the radio is off... But u can't hear it when u turn on the radio...

BTW, i'm planning to install VS on my LB myvi, will it void my warranty?

must we go for service on the dot when 1st month or 1000km whichever comes first? if like 1.5month then i reached 1000km then go service, can?

Already reached 1 month but not 1000KM yet. Don't really have time, so I just decided to wait for it when it reaches 1000KM

i got the letter 2 weeks back.. but since my 2nd service still has 1km to go at that time, haven't sent it for servicing yet.

hopefully it won't die out on me when i'm driving/starting the car, haha!

hi, my username at tat website is khchin, mayb u hv to listen it detailly, d sound oni can b listened when engine was hot n rev frm idling to around 1.5krpm, u try listen it by switch off the radio n slowly press d pedal. If noting, then u r lucky.

guys...any solution to prevent the antenna from keep getting stolen ?
just lost mine...
so just wondering is there any modification can be done ? change another type of antenna ?
i don't really feel like buying another stick and get stolen again n again n again...

wah, nowadays antenna also got people want to steal. omg

usually people use superglue to stick it permanently

Hi Myvi owners!

I test drove the new 2011 Myvi today..

Is it just me, or the steering response seems to be like a split second slower? Like when I turn to the right, a split second only the car will move to the right.

And the car seems to bounce alot on uneven roads.

Is all 2011 myvi's car characteristic like this? Or just that test drive unit? :S

Oh good to hear that the car is treating u well bro apaer from the wiring problem. Haha so P2 did not improve on the speakers at all. It has been like this since the first Myvi was launched and I too had my speakers changed!


Read about it and sorry to hear ur suffering from this problem. Hope P2 will find a solution to it soon. I guess will wait for a few more months before I purchase the car. Hopefully P2 would have ironed out any issues they found during manufacturing the car.

also wanna ask, has anyone experience steering issue akin to mine?

Sometimes at corner the electric steering kicks in and its very easy to steer (no feedback)
sometimes at same corner, same speed i can feel feedback from the steering wheel.

dear sifus, rumor saying lagi best SE is equipped with 1.5 avanza engine and it would have 4 disc brake. is it true??

btw, i've one question regarding the LB absorber. they said LB are much firmer and stable at high speed. is it true?
