Hi All,

First time posting here.I am the proud owner of first edition MyVi. I bought it from my sister.

Problem : My ABS and handbrake lights always on.

I have done some research from LYN archive and from Uncle Google. Most of them saying that this usually happen after they wash their car or have a new tinted on.

I did bring my car for a wash but at the time the lights is already on.  So I bring to workshop just to ask what is wrong. Then they check and say sensor failure on both of my back tires. Need to change to a new one. And the new one come together with bearing. So have to buy 2 set of sensor with bearing.  cry.gif

Then I said I go back home think first. Anyone having the same problem and solve it before?
*
Didn't had this problem before but maybe my suggestion to send it to Perodua Official Service Centre to get it checked and identify what's the problem instead of sending to the workshops. As you know, Many workshops would just try to dig every single sen from your pocket unless it's a workshop that you have relative working there or you know the person well...therefore, the workshops out there would try to make the problem looks serious and say need to change this and that.

Maybe you could send it to P2 SC to get it checked and identify the problem then send it to the workshop after that since you might feel like P2 SC will be more expensive compared to Workshops out there

Rim and Suspensions....I think Yes...maybe you could ask those that modified it, Maybe you can get an accurate info smile.gif
No idea if can feel the difference but definitely the weight would be increased and also fuel consumption would be higher smile.gif
*
yah..agreed...i think the most accurate info will come from Myvians who already mod...
bt..i think it sure will deliver better handling rather than stock settings...
especially when u change ur rim...if bigger size, it definitely will affect ur FC

Sorry for asking this. What has ABS light got to do with tinting?

ABS = anti-lock braking system which relates to the wheel to prevent the wheels from locking up.
While tinting is to do with the windscreen & windows.

Yeah. But mine the handbrake light is also on. So I guess it is something to do with my sensor and break. And break is one of the most crucial part since next week I will need to use my car a lot. Scared if the break suddenly not functioning.

Aaron, It all depends on your foot actually. For me, RM 50 I could go up to 350KM + City drive mostly. Type of petrol does play a part too. Different brand of petrol I get different millage.

Shell -> RM50 -> 320-330KM
Petronas -> RM50 -> 350KM
Esso -> RM50 -> 360KM+

But I pump Petronas mostly since it's near my house

Not too sure about Shell. Have been using Petronas for more than 10 years. Then switch to Esso in the last 2 years. Found that using Esso, car has better power.

Esso seems to be the petrol that gives more power and millage to the car lol. Petronas not bad too..

Yea because in my own opinion the original horn is kinda "Girlish" or would I say "retarded" lol. No offense to anyone ya smile.gif
Elegance full bodykit will be around RM1000. While SE there's no bodykit. it's only bumper. I've checked the rear bumper price as I wish to change to the SE rear bumper. It cost around RM710 including spraying. This price was quoted by P2. It's quite expensive lol so I just decided to continue and use the Elegance Bodykit smile.gif

bro, which p2 sc you ask?

If you read my previous reply towards your post. It's the Desa Tun Razak branch smile.gif But seriously it's a bit too expensive lol. Hope later after few months. I could get a cheaper price from other accessories shop. Currently with that price, I would rather spend it for other things like Rims or others lol. Anyways, if you manage to get a cheaper price from somewhere else. PM me and let me know ya bro smile.gif

Bare in mind that the DVD video playing will only be able to play when the handbrake is pulled up. When it's moving, you can't play it

Hi,

Curious to know if the Myvi's Multimedia set can be connected to rear reverse camera? Anyone done that before?

I'm sure it can be done. Just go to the accessories workshop and let them do it for you
