Imo,seeing serious art is fun,why doodling is fun?It doesnt have any value in it...it is just a piece of unfinished art,I can doodle for all I wanted,but posting in a thread for people to see is kinda lame,unless it is a piece of gorgeous doodle.

We're not that impatient. If our (or me myself) idea is doodle or sketch-kind of art at the moment, why should bother going detail with it?
Even sketches are art, so please be thoughtful. Again, I mean no offense here.

U guys should stop it with the doodle thing,I came here by the purpose of seeing what local people are capable of,if I go Deviantart,how to search for Malaysian made one,all pages are occupied by other country.If u guys keep posting doodle,how can I know what u guys can do,what can Malaysian are capable of.

deviantart got a lot malayisan artist i've saw is a lot better. you should use the search engine there.

and dun talk like we are "should be" pro like "insert someone here"... sometimes not-complete doodle does help spark up the willingness of people to challenge them self to complete that "thing"

aiya chills la guys ^^;; why much restrict so much. the thread itself say art attack. not full colored complete arts or something... =X

just request for one but no restriction ler. too strict, where the fun of it. if you still want to have a complete end arts, why dont open a new thread with the restrict rules instead? ^^;; doodle also fun to be look at i like to see agito doodle of sexy girl and use it as references to go on further with my own style. though i throw in tong sampah coz it turns out to be sucks xD since my skill still damn newbie

edit: if you guys mau few name with quite awesome complete work, i can point some of my friends. though most of them more into anime/manga character =X

ya, adam, if you wan learn the style why want to LIMIT yourself to MALAYSIAN ARTIST?
go watch other country's artist also can learn mah. why must RESTRICT YOU TO MALAYSIAN ARTIST only?

edit: okay la, in the end my point is, if you wan to learn why you wan to limit yourself in this forum, outside there have many forum that is much more talented artists there, you should give it a try.

and people who cant draw well doesn't mean they cant critic your work. drawing skill is not equal to judgement value/skill.
i always have a thinking "if you can't convince even a non-drawing person, then you got something wrong liao"

To adam> I understand how you feel, but to be honest, this is not the place you can look for stellar works. I know that the quality is not up to your par, but give it break, okay? I really appreciate this thread since people are willingly give out comments and put their work, and not many i've seen doing that in local forums. Open your mind and open your heart. We're all learning here and i hope you do too. There's no shame of admitting that the results is not up to expectations but at least we're having fun. That's the most important part.

Nonetheless, lets get back to motion, people. Cant wait to see more works

then if its good try to developed it further, if not then leave it as it is for future reference, who knows if i can use it again later, its kind of like recycling hahaha

you use overlay to paint the your black and white "doodle" up?

tiny bit of overlay only me thinks. overlay for color messes up the values so i don't use it much. color wash then opaque paint on normal layer works better.
