We've read of gold and inflation. But what of DEFLATION? This piece was written in 1996, at a time when gold price history charts show stagnant times.

I still stay the same view as before, waiting for my "D" region as my target price. Last bearish retracement was around 5100 pip movement. Current bull retracement is only 4400 pips. After all, kijun sen (red line) is still pointing down showing still a strong bearish movement.

right after the US market opened today, the gold price is keep on going up steadily...

by observing the graph i noticed 1 thing, today no "sharp" increment / decrement.
i guess this upward trend is due to buy in from small player / investors.

the previous days, i noticed a lot of "sharp" increment / decrement, which i guess it's due to big player / investors...
perhaps a group of ppl are trading with insider info...

Hey, dont lar like that bro Prophetjul - it's called Prosumer (bastardizing the words "professional" & "consumer") of olden direct scamming oops marketing era mar tongue.gif

Eh - not a bad deal leh for risk takers if the scam.. oops, the scheme, IF it's still around for longer than 5 years (like Madoff's),
based on my neophyte assumptions & calculations posted in http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2023951/+115 ("I am preparing for Global Recession, Be cash rich" thread/topic). Of course dont lar re-invest and call the whole village to join in - sure implode one day (but that day may be loooooooooong off or tomorrow laugh.gif)

U have the same fire as i have against CONsultants brows.gif,
especially with the "anytime is a good time to buy" with no value approach, plans and methodologies. Perhaps they are right, anytime is a good time... to fill the CONsultants' wallets laugh.gif

I really learned a lot the question "how to buy gold".
Gbullion is the most profitable way to buy and sell physical gold. I used UOB. It's a valid way, too.

the problem with UOB is they have lack or limited branch... maybe that's why they also offer lower spread to entice customers to buy from them...but you have to make ur own effort to find and go to nearest branch lor...
