Thanks for the recommendation. The taste of the soup are thick.. nice nice
If only they have more variants on their soup based as some people prefer the soup to be thin, and best if they have more choices on the toppings.
Nevertheless, nice biggrin.gif

Restaurant Name: Eyuzu Japanese Buffet
Dining Time: Dinner

They wrapped napkin like kimono!

user posted image
They do not have raw oysters and mussels. They cheese baked them. Mussels sucks! Oyster below par!

user posted image
Their sushi and sashimi...Salmon sushi is quite ok....but others are still below par.

user posted image
Adegashi Tofu is good as usual. The reason I said this is because if a Japanese restaurant can't even make a simple tofu right...they better close down.

user posted image
Yakitori and salmon. Does they look interesting to you? No right?

user posted image
Fried udon with tempura. The fried udon already cold.

user posted image
My sister cooked for me for the first time in my life.

Look at the ice! I thought I have not shaved the ice at all.

I tried my best. I just failed to love you, Eyuzu. I am sorry.

Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Recommended?: No way! or Regret it!
Other comment: This is the lousiest Japanese Restaurant buffet in a hotel like Eastin Hotel. The varieties are so few and the food are not that delicious. I do not understand why vKeong would highly recommend a Japanese Restaurant like this. A total letdown.
I can't post all the pictures here, so to get more detail on how bad is their food, check the link below:

well, restaurants do change and quality will drop. sometimes luck also

there's many times that the quality of a restaurant just suddenly drop, and hence when someone heard the recommendations of another and go, only to disappoint

this your real sister or "sister?"

also yeah, sometimes restaurant quality drops, sometimes your taste requirements increase (especially after you start eating nice food all the time ... then what was 'previously' nice could start to be 'not nice').

i haven't been to eyuzu so can't comment though.

Last week tried buffet at Sagano Japanese Restaurant at Renaissance Hotel KL.. i will say it's good and worth the price.. the price is almost the same as Tenji and Jogoya but it's much more better than both than them in term of food freshness, choice/variety, service and etcs.. thumbup.gif

your comments are kind of unfair

http://www.vkeong.com/2011/food-drink/eyuz...2-eastin-hotel/

comparing what you had and what he had, his food clearly LOOKS a lot better. and he did not 'highly recommend' it anywhere in his blog. Please find the words 'I highly recommend Eyuzu' in his post for me? Or you are just trying to make vkeong look bad.

And please, read the things he wrote clearly

QUOTE
As far as Japanese buffet goes, Eyuzu could still be considered a hidden gem on the net because not many ‘high profile bloggers’ have given it a mention yet. For me, just the fresh cut sashimi, sushi and Unagi alone were enough reasons for me to recommend it. The other dishes, though not spectacular, are only minor issues that won’t really affect the overall dining experience.

It is clearly stated the sashimi, sushi and unagi are the good stuff while the rest ARE NOT SPECTACULAR. But from what I see you are eating the wrong things.

It's easy to blame bloggers when your food goes wrong, but has anyone thought of it could be because the restaurant DID NOT maintain the quality instead?

Chill, girl...all are based on facts...so I am not jumping into conclusion or something.

I am sorry if my photography is extremely bad but look does not justify a taste, don't you think so?

Btw, I tried everything...check my blog for more pictures

Check this link...it is clearly stated "highly recommended"

I m also stating facts that hoping blogwhores not to abuse F&F to get their counts for their blog by posting some pictures of food and some pics of girls to promote.

No offence. Sorry for the offtopic.
