time for an update.... ive gone SLI so heres an update on my cable management



not too happy about the GC/HDD area....needs to be sleeved then i think better....but damn lazy to do now..

Hmm.
want to ask it the part below common and can be found any where?
cause i have only a couple of thems
not quite enough to manage the cables

yeah....quite common....u should be able to find them in hardware stores...

found mine in Ace Hardware Mid Valley.

u guys reli pro lah...i cant even do a nice cable management.. my comp like rubbish bin...all cable cross around..susah to manage it..

it is possible to happen especially for the SATA signal cable...

if i pusing the normal IDE cable to make it looks like rounded IDE cable..will damage the cable?

Well, be moderate when twisting. I've seen people doin it that way, the demo rig in the Lian Li anniversary case at ATE Lowyat Plaza's one good example. Basically you do it gently and don't stretch the point where the flat-cables come in contact with the connectors to hard. Fold it then sleeve it, that should do the trick

Worse come to worse, if you're either too worried or couldn't be bothered, get yourself one of those rounded IDE cables. Moderno's got loads of them from Cooler Master and OEM

i not so sure whether it will damage the IDE cable or not, but i think if u really want to arrange ur cables nicely, better get a rounded IDE cable, easy to manage...

Actually rounded IDE cable is even more difficult to use as it doesn't bend easily ... furthermore the look of the rounded IDE cable usually not nice ..

only Cooler Master ide cable is nice ...

Actually bending the cable won't really spoil the cable unless been doing it again and again ... so must plan things out before actually attempt it ..

Doom, you sold you casing? so whats next? which casing are you going to buy? Since your going watercooling pls do post your new setup sifu..

hhahaha, , new case ???? this is the thing that hurting my head everyday ...

I'll be going to SG this weekend to meet up with Gary and see what solution he got to proposes ... since he dealed with so many wc setup before ...

Will try to compile his opinions into the next possible project ....

actually there's no need for full tower case for wc ....

a nice SS TJ-09 would be one good case ... but only the price is main concern ...

or probably get any standard ATX case and mod it to fit in wc stuffs...

Yeah. Certain cables u shouldnt bend them.
