Something like this:

user posted image

It fits into ur case and screwed to the optical drive bay

all the PSU cables goes in to the box except for mobo, 4 pin and gc..

then create some custom cables according to the length and sleeve it nicely  that connects from the PSU cables within the box ..

i get i get the rough idea thanks but wat you mean custom cable ? do i have to unsleeve it to make it custom out from the "OUT" box?

I dont really like acrylic casing myself. But if you wanna save the hassle, perhaps you just need to arrange your cable to make it neat is more than enough. Line them an area which don't block the airflow and tie them up nicely will do.

Actually having this kinda casing is fun actually...if Doom has one god knows where all the wires and management will go...
His pc is allwayz clean.
You can alwayz paint the behind mobo side panel if you want to hide the cables and wires

Custom cables mean u buy the wires, pins, molex connector, heat shrink and sleeve, build the cables according to the type of connector and length for exact routing distance from the hardware to the box ..

so the custom cable would connect to the PSU from inside of the box ...

I used to have same case like urs. But now my lil bro using it blush.gif

Here the reference site

What i just do is, I put some of the cables beneath my MOBO..oh yeah u can see the spoiler to view the mess at that side of the case. And to hide that spoiler, I use to add some kind of 'poster' at that site (or else u can tint that side as well)

Cheers! I really miss my case blush.gif

Here are some comparison with my previous attempts and my latest attempt with the cable management without cutting any part of the casing. My rig also went through a few changes, from changing Asus 945 mobo to GigabyteP35 , and the FreezerPro swap back with Intel Stock cooler.

Not bad ... if only u don't need to front audio port that would reduces cables passing by mobo ...

thanks Doom....i got to learn alot from u guys also. Very good reference and comparison resources. The front audio port is quite essential for me cos i will use my headphones from time to time.
Notice that i use the Lian Li 3.5inch diskette drive cage to fit my old IDE harddisk at the CDROM drive bay?? hehehe.... brows.gif

Looks decent. If you can hide the cables to the other side of your case, that would be better. smile.gif

I think it's a very good job to think about the case that used ..

CM series is poor in cable management as there's no place to route or hide the cables much ...

unless cutting the case for cables opening is done .. else it's hard to go any further from current setup ..

difficult to hide cos the hardisk power cable not able to get through the other side, and the sata cable for both hardisk and cd-rom difficult to bend it. sad.gif cry.gif
