instead of spending the money for a modular PSU, the money can be used to get a lian li...seriously.

thats what id do...i dont like modular PSUs and i dont like acrylic casings too laugh.gif

Haha but I really like clear transparent case,it looks cool biggrin.gif and I have just dismantle the 2 side fan.Perhaps just replace with fan grill will save some wiring icon_rolleyes.gif

No offense, but, seriously, arcylic casing is real fugly if you don't really know how to play with it.
You have to do some serious mod to make it a real beauty. smile.gif

If i were you, i'd ditch the idea of getting a modular PSU and use the money to get a Lian-Li casing.
The cheapest modular PSU would be the Enermax Liberty 400W.
However, i wouldn't suggest getting an Enermax PSU either, as Enermax PSU is a real fu*ktard this days.

Avoid getting an Enermax PSU at all cost. smile.gif

Owh wait, you're already using an Enermax PSU right now. sweat.gif

hhaha ,, there's a way to get it done ...

first make a box and install it at the optical drive bay then have all ur power cable beside 12atx and 4 pin connectors goes through the box ..

so all ur cable would be within that box .. make sure it's not fully trasnparent as well.

then make own custom cables to connect all ur devices and lead back into the box so that u could connect it to the power cables..

and make sure use cable tie base and zip tie to align or ur custom cables nicely ...

by doing that u would get a perfectly arranged acrylic case without cables crawling here and there..

that's not solving the problem from the root rather just disguise it behind curtain ...

make it simple just a box with some wires goes in and out ...

however only wires that needed goes out ... something similar like modular PSU design just that u aren't changing ur PSU ..

full acrylic casing is very hard to play with IMO. there's just no place to hide those unused cables. well doom's idea is good enough. you should give it a try

It's better not to get a cheaper and lower end PSU since it would reduce the stability of the system and doesn't last for long..

today just got a PC from friend that need a new PSU and case for better cooling ..

her PSU only lasted for 2 years with minimal usage ...(PowerLogic)

2mr have to go LYP again to pick up a new PSU and Lian Li case ...

Something like this:

user posted image

It fits into ur case and screwed to the optical drive bay

all the PSU cables goes in to the box except for mobo, 4 pin and gc..

then create some custom cables according to the length and sleeve it nicely that connects from the PSU cables within the box ..
