QUOTE(Are_keem @ May 11 2007, 06:37 PM) really ah..? where did u get it? -adios- Well, my cousin got it for me in a shop in Ipoh. Not sure where that is but its really cheap. Try look around in LYP and Sri Computer. The last time my cousin was there, he got himself the black rounded CM Ide Cable for only RM10. Once while, there is hidden treasure (as in cheap cables) lying around in Sri Comp...

Not that quiet though. The fan on my GC isn't running smoothly and causes grinding sounds.

If that's the case then u have to get a third party cooler for replacement of stock cooler .. hahah
Anyway used to use 8800GTS and u could set the fan speed not to go up to maximun during gaming ...
It's not neccessary to have it spin to the max ....

No there's no plastic cover...there never was since i bought it OT: Does all 8800GTS comes with a plastic coer at the stock fan? Mine didn't. These days i'm confused and worried because i am afraid i bought a used GC, because the shop only quoted me 1 year warranthy from Galaxy meanwhile Galaxy says their GC comes with 2 years warranthy. And i can't find my serial number on my GC.

Yeah. Its a white CCFL, and for the blinking thing, I guess its the sound activation. When there's loud enough noise (especially bass from the music) the lights will turn on, but when its quiet or the noise isnt loud enough, it'll turn off. Thus the blinking. But I think it gets broken quite easily. I turned on the sound activation yesterday, tested it out for a few hours, and now it doesnt really work that good anymore. Bleh.
