Bro, just want to ask,

If we done this kind of foam proofing on pillar A B C, then the wiring inside the pillar will be buried with foam. right? so replacement or modification of wire will be a problem?

If there is wire, we will not foam that area , especially on B pillar. Normally A pillar and C pillar will not have wires unless some high end cars with airbag ,then we will not foam the pillars.

alright so a week has gone by, for me, the effect of the foaming was most noticeable regarding the feeling of the car, feeling more solid on the 2nd day.. but with a stock blm, the noise pollution were coming from all over the place so i cant differentiate the before and after noise reduction from the foaming alone.. i do think the road noise has lessen but to what extent i cant say..all in all, for what i got, it was worth it smile.gif

now ive done some diy sound proofing on the bonnet, engine bay, front doors and spare tyre compartment,i think 70% of the noise i had before are gone smile.gif) the nagging noise i get now are from the wind and tire..if i do the a pillar, would the wind noise be lowered?

Hi bro, glad to know it improved your saga blm. Foaming the A pillar will reduce the noise from the pillar and improve handling and reduce body roll mostly.

PM me for Myvi 2011 price and location. Thanks. smile.gif

Price for myvi is rm250 promo price while stock last. This is due to myvi undercarriage chassis consist of 8beams include the rear compare to kancil, kenari kelisa viva which only consist of 2 or 3 beams.

Anyway, can you explain more detailing where is the actual location of A,B,C pillars? The package just for undercarriage, right?
*
A pillar = front pillar whereby it connect the front hood with the root.

B pillar = Where it connect the floorboard with the roof (and where ur seatbelt is located)

C pillar = Where it connect the roof with the rear section of the car.

Have not seen Atos Prima undercarriage before. Usually doing the undercarriage and rear would reduce the road and wind noise. It would cost RM199 for Atos.

ok bro...block me for 2morrow's 10:30 am slot....time to foam the mpv has come....c u then....thanks

btw, its now day4 after the foaming of the 308.....the ride is definitely more planted, specifically so during hard cornering as well as when goin over our famous bolehland's pothole filled and uneven road surfaces....still only a slight improvement in cabin ambient noise but again the stock levels were pretty good to start with already....all in i'm sold on the product's benefits...if only i can reduce the damn tyre noise now hmm.gif

cheers
