just got mine done...kevin's a nice chap and very informative with sharing experiences about the product....thanks buddy for your time

i'll provide a more detailed feedback in the next few days...overall the most noticeable is the muffled vibrations and noise while going over bumps or potholes.....let the foam cure a bit more and i'll access the other improvements then

to the other 3 customers (u know who u r) there...a friendly shoutout...was nice meeting u all

cheers

day 1 comments:

- kinda hard to detect any noticeable improvements in cabin ambient noise...prolly since the car's stock condition is already pretty gud imho...also the intrusion of tyre noise doesn't help with the assessment as my tires are now nearing their end of life and needs to be changed soon sad.gif

- the ride comfort of the car goin over humps and bumps are improved...significantly more mutted (some might equate this to a more conti feel) even only after a day of the chasis foaming and this shud improve over the next 4 days or so thumbup.gif

- cornering, both long sweeping corners as well as sharper turns, yields more feedback to the driver, i.e., an improved level of control imho...again this shud improve over the next few days as the foam cures completely rclxm9.gif

all in i wud say its money well spent and im not putting down the other competitors products here....to each his own isnt it?? an improvement in 2 outta 3 areas above is good enuf for my tastes...factor that in with the unbeatable promo price......wat else is there the say somemore icon_rolleyes.gif

downsides:

- only one.....there's a bit of overflow which can be seen when i take a peek at the undercarriage this morn.....but since its not plainly visible, i will only trim/cut it away the next time the car goes into the SC for a service or a tyre change/rotation exercise

@kevin: i'll advise u on my available time/schedule soon as i wud like to get my better half's mpv done as well, used the 308 as the lab rat 1st.....i think the improvements for the mpv will be much greater compared to the 308....thanks again bro

ok bro...block me for 2morrow's 10:30 am slot....time to foam the mpv has come....c u then....thanks

btw, its now day4 after the foaming of the 308.....the ride is definitely more planted, specifically so during hard cornering as well as when goin over our famous bolehland's pothole filled and uneven road surfaces....still only a slight improvement in cabin ambient noise but again the stock levels were pretty good to start with already....all in i'm sold on the product's benefits...if only i can reduce the damn tyre noise now hmm.gif

cheers

hi kevin

here's the comments after the ipsum's undercarriage was foamed last sat

1. ride comfort over bumps, humps and uneven road surfaces are minimal...but that was to be expected smile.gif as the ipsum's comfort levels were already very gud....very hi end conti feel already to begin with

2. road noise and specially engine noise shows a dramatic improvement...this was where we were really surprised (in a gud way la) coz we tot the car's cabin insulation was already plenty gud to begin with....the reduction in engine noise was a real pleasant surprise and cud be felt the day the car was foamed....i believe this is due to the engine noise being transmitted through the hollow chassis......engine noise can now only be heard during hard acceleration rclxms.gif

3. body roll and cornering stability also shows improvement...we haf tried this over the few usual corners and yes...the car's more planted...haf yet to really tekan since i got family on board cry.gif at that time....will surely push it a little more when i haf the car all to myself next time.....

i approached you with a clear expectation of getting 1 outta 3 improvements on the above and came away with 2 outta 3...wat can i say bro....wat can i say notworthy.gif

btw, i also noticed tat the number of 308s have been increasing....well done...u r doing a fantastic service here to all my other 308 bros out there......cheers

thanks again kevin....much appreciated.....gud service & excellent price.....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

btw the comments above are also shared by my better half...she noticed the differences almost immediately on the monday after the foaming process....i left the car in the parking the whole of sunday and the family used my 308 ma....
