i guess RO or distilled water change is the easiest way.. but do it slowly.. to avoid sudden GH/PH change

another more advance way is to find water softener resin .. BUT ... normal market resin is charged with Na+ (sodium or we call it salt) to replace Ca or Mg (to lower GH), Na generally not useful in planted tank.. u need to charge them with Potassium Chloride (KCL).. Ca/Mg out, Potassium in... plants can use potassium as it is one of macro - NPK

wei jie,

how do you spot planaria in aquarium tank. planaria isn't like something very small that cannot be seen by human eyes?

and does it brings harm to the lifestock?

Lol, very easy to make only using instant yeast and sugar.
but you need to make the solution every week.
