QUOTE(weijie @ Nov 16 2011, 09:23 AM) hi ageh84, i don't keep any shrimps yet.. or yamato.. so i need to get mini puffer la ek.. after that throw at sungai? goreng?Do you have shrimps other than yamato in your tank now? if not then you can go get mini puffer. it is very good to fight snails. After all snails is killed, you can give it to someone else or release it. I brought my assasin snail from NA SS19 few months ago. not sure if they still have stocks. Each pcs Rm6 |

QUOTE(weijie @ Nov 16 2011, 10:54 AM) maybe pass or resell to someone else that need it. After that i will bring to your home.. makan together2Or, goreng je lah ! Kalau sedap boleh buka store ni ! heheheh.. QUOTE(loon1031 @ Nov 16 2011, 11:45 AM) You have to resposible to those fish u buy from LFS. I think just return back to LFS. Keep them alive and later will need that gangster again! As puffers is a little monsters, It may attack other fish if no snail there. No simply release to river or pond when u no longer need them. If not, it will become serious issue like become gangster at that river or pond or cause other fish no longer survive there. |

QUOTE(pakutekan @ Nov 17 2011, 09:16 PM) hurmm as i know usually co2 tank pressure around 1000psi.. Good news! Dosnx later pm me bout the tank if available.co2 fire extinguisher can use straight away la. no need to change the main valve.. haha.. how i know? i'm using it.. for those who afraid the condition of used CO2 FE tank.. just bring to any fire extinguisher company, they can run a test to check the condition of the tank.. usually word 'expired' mean the tank certificate was expired. just send back to re-certify. |

QUOTE(Newgen @ Nov 22 2011, 06:34 PM) I used to do these: Nice tip! Will do it tonight. Thanks Ingredient: 1 Cup of Sugar 1.5L bottles 1 tspn spoon baking soda 1/4 tspn of yeast Now the making it part: Sugar part: pour 1 Cup of sugar into the 1.5L bottle pour 1/2L hot water into bottle and shake to melt the sugar pour 1/2L cold water into bottle and make the mixture warm (around 40 degrees) pour in the baking soda. Yeast part: Prepare warm water of about 20ml (1 part hot water 3 part cold, so will be around 37C, close to Body temperature) pour yeast into the warm water and stir it vigorously until it foams, and let it settle for 5 minutes. Mixing part: Pour the yeast mixture into the Sugar Water mixture. DONE~ This way, the yeast is activated and it will start work in around 10 minutes. I used to make 4 bottles each time, and additional 4 bottles at the 2nd week (total of 8) And I'll change the first 4 at around a month's time. This way, the CO2 supply is quite constant for a 4ft tank. And i use valve to control it to around 3~5 bubble per second depend on the plants. |
