U can try to get dwarf puffer fish. But do beware that they might attack your shrimp when they get bigger.

Anyone interested on golden/ white crs can pm me... Letting it go for cheap price...limited quantity of CBS and crs s grade above as well! Cheers!

pennywort is ok for shrimp smile.gif but not really a good carpet plants.. hahaa..

coz they like to grow with root out of the soil, but personally think that its a grow play ground for shrimplets, some ppl just let them float on top

with good condition, can grow quite fast...

hey guys, wanna ask.

I just got some nice Green Neon Tetras. Really nice and small. About 1-1.5 cm.

Feeding them micro pellets but they dont seem to be eating them. Any idea why? could it be because they are still new to the tank> just two days. Still banging the glass, but now less than yesterday.

What should i feed them then?

Most probably is cause by your water condition. You should let it cycle at least for a week before adding any fauna. It is better if you add some neutralize flora into your tank as it will really help on the cycling of your new tank. Do u add any air stone pump? We might need more detail of your tank as well. Cheers!

yeap, that's the difference in terms of tube size 5/8" and 8/8" or simply 1" diameter. for the same length, the wattage is slighly different but you can save loads of space when you opted for T5 tubes.

tubes replacement i think any LFS also got, but more common ones are the T8, if you are saying parts like the ballast, T8 is definitely easier to find as any electrical shop can get it.

you can actually DIY T5 housing if you are on a budget limit. Just get the tubes and make you own housing.

same situation here, cardinals not enjoying their meals..... pellets sinks a after floating for a few minutes. any pellets recommendation for cardinals please? my beauty are quite big, approx 2.5-3cm

previously using aquadine if not mistaken, green body, yellow cap. cloud my water easilly, now changed to spectrum, blue cap. not more cloudy water, but fish not eating 'em.

My tank set up about a month already. HC already taking roots. Should be properly cycled by now. Also using old filter.
Not using any air stone.
Will post some pics later.
