Sorry for the bad news but we had to agree that SGSII sound quality is worst than SGS.!! :-P
Even supercurio/vodoo surrender and admit he can't fix the sound (at the moment) as Yamaha doesn't open up its source to public :-)

You can check through dialler *#0*# for screen test. From dark/black/green background, you can see your left side screen colour a bit yellowish

How can the whole screen look yellowish if you put dark/green background. It's either the same colour as the background or a patch of slight yellowish that normally at the whole left side.
If the whole screen look yellowish even on dark/green background then i suggest you go to service centre and ask for replacement :-)

Take your time and go to V10 thread page 6 #post 120. There you can see a picture of yellowish tint on green background.
BTW from your description., most probably your got normal/good screen as you find it hard to see any different of colour on your phone screen :-P

If you ask me, i'm on stock rom KG1 firmware. Last charge 1 day 6 hours ago with battery still 87% left

Does you phone look like the pictures in V10 page 6 #post 120.??

I'm not a gamer. Only short time play Angry birds. A few call and a lot of sms'es. No surfing for the time being.

It's normal if you play games or browsing. You can check my own test at page 24 #post 479 and page 28 #post 547. Our phone can sustain quite high temperatures :-P

Refer to V10 thread page 6 #post 120 and see if you got the same problems

If your phone less than 7 days then you can ask for NEW replacement set. If more than 7 days you can ask them to change for a new lcd screen only :-)

Yours got only slight yellowish. I heard ppl said it can be reduced/eliminated when you upgrade your firmware to android 2.3.4 but i don't know whether it's true or not.

And no, no risk at all if you change your lcd at service centre. If still got problem then you ask them to change it again until the problem solved :-)

Did you try the app that destEX gave the link? Why not you try it first. If still cannot solve then better ask for replacement at service centre.

No need. Whoever can produce the phone together with the warranty card (if still blank) can go and claim the warranty on your behalf. Meaning you family member and friends also can one :-P

Do you have any data plan? If not, then once you enable your data network, all data transmitted will deduct your credit. Or maybe some data can still be transmitted through 2G as well.??
