im not sure about the front leg, she can move and use the leg to crawl and scratch but just it looks weird when the paw is not contacting the surface properly. any vets that look into hedgehogs in kl? how about the charges? btw she's about 1 month old according to the owner and well she eats like a pig!

I have a huge problem with my boy here. He seems to be sleeping 24/7. I barely see him move and he don't eat much. Then he twitched even when a tissue touched him and he is not as active anymore. He looks so bad that I'm afraid he might die soon sad.gif

I bought him a week ago. He's about 3 months old. I'm putting it at a friend's house now cos I needed to make sure is it the noise my housemates made make him scared. If he's still like this, I'm bringing him to the vet.

Here's a picture before he became like this.

He was fine before. It just happened like two or three days ago. If I constantly move him from room to living room, will e become like this? icon_question.gif

He looks fine from the photo. Constant noise can easily stress them out, even if he is a tame hedgie. Count the kibble and notice on the water consumption, anything can die of dehydration.

He sleeps through the night as well. I have moved him to a friend's house for now cos it's much quieter over there. I'll probably bring him back after a few days after I find a quieter place cos my friend said he did eat yesterday. When he was here, he kind of refused to eat.

When u bring him home, just let he settle down for few hours, leave onli water then after that onli put back ur food for him. When I adopted the female S&P from my fren, she refuse to eat for one week! and she onli drink water. She's getting thin and thinner day by day so finally I try feed her mealworm and she begin to eat cat food after that. Two months ago she just give birth to two healthy hoglets.

Oh that's nice. I'll try to do that then. Is there anything he can't eat at a young age? I actually bought hedgehog food for him but he refuses to eat, at all! So I bought him catfood and he ate like he's never eaten, a week ago though. Now he eat lesser :/

Meet my new Pinto boy, Kirio

Attached Image Attached Image

He is still shy and still timid, easily frightened. working hard to tame da boy.
He did the ball trap on me many times and now my finger bleeding ^^;; but it's okay

Attached Image

After many hours he finally opened up a little and walk around my lap.

And then... here comes the story of Cottie meets Kirio.

Both are 5 months old kids, Kirio is big and fat, while Cottie is smaller and slim.
Kirio is still scared of anything around him and doesn't really eat.

A short story...
