How hard can it be to get a job in Singapore? It will be very difficult as 58% of Singapore executives won't be hiring this quarter. sweat.gif

I notice most big MNCs do not even put salary figures on their ads

my 1 cent is due to pay grade sweat.gif ,
your grade might differ during negotiation process, but still below your hiring manager
for example if your boss is vp grade 5, then max u getting is grade 6 avp or lower sweat.gif
hr usually take the easy way out and offer u something in between the range, not too near to the end, when come for increment, they cant increase cause u hit the grade ceilling
other than that i can think of is "not too upset the current employee"
imagine the vp found out the avp earn more than him sweat.gif

gumtree for place to stay, what your strategy ?
intend to fly here to look for job ? settle down then only bring your family
or u intent to sell eveything and move your family at one go ?
most employer reluctant to call candiate to fly over, unless they damn sure they almost certain hiring u sweat.gif

hi,
would like to know from those who travel from KL to Singapore frequently.
Am going down to Singapore for interview soon, but I'm travelling via bus that arrives at Singapore around 5am in the morning while my interview is at 10am.
Is there any place I can rest once I reach Singapore?
thanks in advance.
*

Good day guys,

Will sgd2000 enough for accomodation(company only provide for 2 weeks  vmad.gif , need to find on my own right after), day to day transit & makan over in singapore? The company offered MYR7000.00 + SGD3000.00 /month. In paper, the position is Malaysia based, but will be stationed in SG for as long as project goes. If can bring back SGD1,000.00/month, i might consider the position. Thanks.
