That is adorable!! =3

Update:

My syrian, Kiiro finally gave up, give a last jolt and died in my hands. What a goodbye. He died last Tuesday, 1st Raya. It was hard being my first pet and all so I brought him to Melaka not convinced he's dead. I buried him at the kampung.

How do you guys bury your hamsters? I was all worried the cat is going to dig him up later.

RIP Yellow.

Cat's don't really dig if u bury it well. Dogs might.

I have a friend that found her hamster lifeless n limp one morning, buried it and later that day found it wandering in her garden. It was hibernating, apparently.

i put my 2 roborovski hamster together for more than 6 months and no hurt / dying. Just fighting over the wheel... By pushing the other one down the wheel.

I put my male winter white , 6 month old with 3 month old female winter white. Already been 2 months no fighting / hurt or dying = =

bare in mind that
robos are social animals
but syrians are not.
winter whites and campbels are also NOT social animals

thats why they are best only in pairs.. not in a big group
winter whites and campbels will be territorial when they grow up,
especially when space becomes less as they become bigger

in social animals like rats and guinea pigs,
they can get DEPRESSION if kept alone
but this only happens in social animals
research shows that rats do best... 6 in a cage (i think 2 feet tank size)

so please, dont go keeping winters and campbels in large groups saying they will be lonely
it depends if they are a social animal or not
and robos wont kill each other when housed in a group setting

agreed. Thats why i keep my syrian in a solo cage, 2 ww in one cage , another pms-ing pregnant ww in another cage. That day i just take out the male from the pregnant female for 5 minutes , after i put back she attack the male. But my other ww hamster very socialable.

Well i had a guinea pig and believe me , it really needs a partner or else.. u daii

i think the best thing is to separate them
however, one common reason that winters fight when they mature is due to lack of space

you can try buying a bigger cage and see if they still fight
but if they do fight, you still have to separate them

omg! we have the same problem! But my winter pearl , is the one harrasing my winter gold. They are sisters. After awhile , i separate them coz they were making too much sound. Its no use i tried to 'stop' them from fighting but ... nope it dont work.
