blu3hamm3r: Since you mentioned camera lens, do you use any macro lens for taking close up of the diecast? I noticed your shots are pretty sharp.

aquilaTE: I used to have Tamron SP90, Nikon 105F2.8 but i sell it off long time ago. I just use 17-55 f2.8 to shoot all my diecast photo. Few photo also shoot with 50f1.4 with attached macro filter. The picture look sharp is bcos i use F18 15"second ISO100 with tripod. U might try it. ^^
Btw, just saw AA website upcoming model MERCEDES-BENZ 190 SL - WHITE. Goddam nice! Who is going to grab this?? http://www.autoartmodels.com/web/product/e...09139160ED81A0C This post has been edited by blu3hamm3r: Nov 25 2011, 03:12 PM |

I have a kit lens at 18-105 and my recent discast diorama shots I shot at F32 4secs 70mm ISO400 and a tripod too. I still find it not sharp enuff.Btw, just saw AA website upcoming model MERCEDES-BENZ 190 SL - WHITE. Goddam nice! Apart from heating up our sensor, will the image be affect from a hot sensor? The CXX picture tat u mean is it this one? ![]() Yup, that's the one! QUOTE(blu3hamm3r @ Nov 25 2011, 03:40 PM) Yoyo....lot of "cool" poster u have!!! lol since when i got hentai dvd? how come i dunno wan and dont worry, if a peasant like me can do it, laoban like you sure no problem Added on November 25, 2011, 4:16 pm QUOTE(aquilaTE @ Nov 25 2011, 03:41 PM) Well, so far I have not been able to take sharp and perfect shots. I want to get it to the level the last time(I dunno who post)this guy shot the CCX very nice and crisp. The objective is to make it look like as if it's a real car in a real garage what blu3hamm3r said, and you dont even need DSLR, even PNS camera. use tripod will do, ISO 100-200 (depend on your psn/dslr, try not to go above 400 since you are in a controlled environment) it, make sure you got adequate lighting, and keep your fsop and shutter to what you need, not overboard it by f32 and 4 sec shutter =edit= for that picture, you will need to play with lighting already, not so much the camera. from my guess, there are at least 3-4 light sources, with top light source being heavy good WB control too since the tip are using cool light, or it could be lens filter too XD Added on November 25, 2011, 4:22 pm » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « thanks. i kinda rather keep everything in my room, easier to manage/safeguard etc. and my collections consist of really f***ing fragile and limited (usually sold out on pre-orders itself, and never restock, only 1 time running/release)items, so definitely not something i wanna keep out of sight for prolonged periods lol also, i believe the temp blu3hamm3r mentioned was the color temp, please dont heat up your sensor, you dont want a ruined dslr/pns lol This post has been edited by Quazacolt: Nov 25 2011, 04:22 PM |
