Old pic spam!

I've assembled one, will keep the other misb until I get a third or fourth. And as much as I'd like SE to have his own skystriker, the sticker doesn't show well on the tail fin due to the color blending in with the tail fin. So I went with the original eagle emblem. I went with the black and gold color ala roy focker macross.

And it's not fully stickered up yet, lazy to apply all of the stickers, just the stripes.

Hey hey, come on, lol, where you're from? If you drop by to Times Square at Grafitti, you can get some of the older 25th anniversary figures or there's this guy who sets up a stall in the flea market on Sundays, selling the POC and Resolute figures in amcorp mall

There's this toyshop called 1toys at the top floor, also in amcorp mall, there's selling the Resolute 7 packs too and the POC Storm Rider vehicle pack

Toywiz, also in amcorp mall, still have a few older POC figures too!

Lot 10 still have the POC wave 1 figures like storm shadow, cobra commander, probably snowjob too

For the G.I. joes line, i have HISS Tank (1983), HISS Tank II (1989), HISS Tank (blue variant from 25th), HISS V.5 (2010, custom repainted to black), Arctic HISS (2009), Cobra Fury (2010), Destro's D.E.M.O.N. (1988), Destro's Razorback (1989), Cobra Maggot (1987), Cobra IMP (1988), Cobra Wolf (1987), Destro's Dominator (1990, sort of a tank)

For the non-G.I. joe toy line i have the world peacekeeper's main battle tank (custom paint to cobra blue with cobra stickers applied), world peacekeeper's infantry fighting vehicle armored truck, 21st Century Toys Ultimate Soldier's M4 Bradley (custom paint to desert colors with cobra stickers applied) and a 1:16 scaled RC Tiger I tank

Thanks i was happily collecting POC wave 2 until hasbro decided to cut the line dun have any new hauls except those TRU exclusives (quick kick & spirit iron knife) which went on clearance...

I check in once in a while here, been busy with work stuff but somewhat collecting. Will post pics when I have time

I'm just hoping that the sequel movie will be better than the first, but by the rumors and news, along with the pics going on, looks like it might be a bit more grittier than its predecessor

Although no finalized cast crew yet (or at least, not officially), a lot of the characters are new characters which is kinda dissapointing (again, not finalized yet) and we only know 2 actors for the Cobra side: Lee Byun Hyun for Storm Shadow again and Ray Stevenson as Firefly, wish there's more revelation on Cobra side

Have you tried checking out amcorp mall to get your POC figures?

So u can consider the guy doing the favor of bringing the whole pack of joes in rather than u have to deal with kastam, shipping fees n the possibilities of being cheated in online transactions.

If u ask me, it shud be ok. Just get the 'quite hard to find' joes Frm him (jungle viper, shock trooper, destro cs...). The common ones can just get it local eBay or Mudah, or perhaps sum other retail outlets who are still trying to clear out their joes... Haha

Oh come on, you exaggerate the negativity, buying from EBay isn't all that bad

From my personal experience, the customs usually will let the item go through for G.I. Joes and as for the shipping fees , it all depends the Ebay seller's choices. Some sellers offer multiple choices, most don't. Can't find what you want with the shipping then keep on browsing

If you want cheap, then get Standard shipping or USPS First Class, then expect your item to arrive in 3-4 weeks. The only thing that you need to worry about is the size of the package that you ordered. Coz if its 1 small item (like a loose figure or parts) then expect the package to get lost during shipping (or stolen by USPS employees). If you want, you can pay a few dollars for insurance but you'll need to notify the seller about it. So far, all my bigger packages arrive in 1 piece, be it an entire wave 5 of POC, vintage vehicles or etc.

If you want fast and willing to pay, go for Priority and then 2 weeks later the item definitely will arrive in your laps.

Afraid of cheating Ebay sellers? Just check the seller's feedback, read the item's description properly, check the pictures properly, ask the seller any questions if not clear...and if you're satisfied then buy or if you're not, browse again

Most Ebay sellers are willing to solve your issue if you don't find satisfactory with your item, like having 1 item missing from the figure, the seller is willing to ship it to you with no additional charges (again, really depends on the seller) or your shipped item went missing after 30 days then sometimes they'll either refund back to you or resend the item again. And once all is done, leave a feedback to the seller

So yeah, it's the same pricing as Wan (the stall seller in amcorp mall) is selling anyway (except for Priority pricing) except he's not bringing it as much stock or as fast as you wanted

Like i said, if all of you keep hoping for Hasbro Malaysia to bring in new G.I. Joes, chances are...well, fat chances. If you wanna collect, collect then and get it through Wan or from Ebay. If you can't afford it, then keep on browsing coz you'll bound to find something cheap.

Oh, btw, this is just my opinion, it's up to you guys to listen or not coz this is a free country so don't go biting my head off (like a certain someone who just did)

I'm not saying getting Frm eBay is a bad thing, maybe it's just that some one us prefer to buy it Frm local stores where u can actually scout, find n hv a look at the item themselves before even thinking of purchasing it at that particular moment. Me myself most of the time get the items Frm eBay too, but I really2 do enjoy scouting for them instead as those days when Joe's figs can be easily found at Parkson, Isetan, TRU, Carefour..... Nice ones. So the 30th anni lines are out already. Seems people managed to get the vehicles already in retail. Time to buy Renegade SE and SS lol while at it get the black dragon VTOL and red hiss!

Hazard viper just released so will be a few days more (maybe hours lol) before a review is available. But if I'm not mistaken, hazard viper reminds me of the roc viper that came with the cancelled lava pod v2..

Here's a simple set up of the Razorback, being accompanied by the iron grenadiers and the heavy arms for support

The nearest I can find to reviews of Hazard Viper is this

Im too resorting to ebay to get the Joe figures, or else buy from Amcorp...price higher but almost same if we buy from ebay.

This makes it my second H.I.S.S. II, i still got 2 more waiting to be delivered) and the 2009 25th Anniversary Alley Viper (making it my third 25th alley viper on hand)

Seller was nice, offered USPS 1st class mail to save shipping cost but i asked him to include certificate (with extra cost) which gave me a reference no.which I can track in USPS. Or else have to resort to USPS Express which is lagi mahal.

Else I get from Amcorp Joe seller whose price is also resonable.

I missed out on shocktroopers but now since it is plentiful in US market, I decided to get em now. Bro tsg also poisoned me with his shocktroopers.

Seller didnt have more cobra vipers or else would have tapao those as well. Just have to wait for next round.

Sadistoc reaper, more vintage haul and 1st edition Alley Viper. That is one which got me impressed with Cobras.

Yes, Sadistic photos and his comic strips in previous thread rejuvenated the venom in our veins. Iron Grenadier POC is currently high price if buy from US. Need to monitor regularly for good deals or to package with other stuff to save shipping. YOu can check out Entertainment Earth to consider ordering from them. However make sure value dun exceed RM 500 or else have to get Malaysian Custom clearance.

The seller was nice enuff to declare a lower value for my Joes package.

Hasbro Msia dun reply emails unless its business oppurtunity to them..waste time only. They now only busy ordering TFs and ignore other lines.

I want to buy more not only to save shipping but to get box packaging so that less risk of it being lost or stolen by insiders. Quite pain in a$$ when item took too long to arrive and you and seller would be pondering where it has gone? Sometimes sellers with 1XXX feedbacks could play tricks on us if they suddenly offer to sell behind Ebay.

It seems you collect all types of modern Joes, bro sadistic..at least those 80s Joe vehicles still able to fit the new figures. Those also valued less than RM 500..he he.

I used to visit Kathy Toy STore and Toys R Us back in the 90s where they have many Gi Joe figures and vehicles.

The Toxin Viper is so impressive...alot of effort has been put in to bring a Joe/ Viper character to the market.

Yup, gotten it from ws_toys, and yup, gotta agree with you, wish it was bigger and able to transport some troops like whats its been shown in the Renegades animation, they could have done it similar with the RoC gunship

I'm a bit hesitant to ship via first class....no tracking makes it scary for me. How's your experience so far, how many shipped using first class and were there any missing? How many, if any?

For First Class tracker...

Most of the first class shipping that i gotten from the sellers, would provide tracking. But tracking number is useless in first class because the post office will only register the "check in" and won't state where the item is, and even when it arrived, it will not state it in the website coz no one bothered to scan the item code. If your item is lost, you won't even know and will still think it's still being stuck in customs (which is not, coz it's lost in the US in the first place). You can't say no to the seller to not purchase a tracker, they insists that you must (coz they think it would provide some way of secure shipping, which is not).

But Priority Shipping tracker will definitely update the moment the package checked in, transported, shipped out, arrival and delivery status.

Some sellers didn't provide the tracker but i still get my items but that's another story.

Whether if the item arrives or not, is another problem. So far to my experience, no matter what, boxed packages always arrives and ALL of my BOXED packages arrive in 1 piece.

At least 30% of my mailing packages/envelopes (anything not boxed and made of paper) are lost in the mail. I do get refund from several sellers, some even end up resending the item again.

The current seller also ponders why I went ask for tracking no. which cost more. For me, as long the final cost still within my budget per figure I am willing to go with tracking for surety. And yes, there are some sellers insist on tracking regardless whether we want to take risk with 1st class.

I recently purchase a non-Joe toy from US with tracking. Item arrived but when I checked USPS website, no updates on arrival at Malaysia...ite been a week.

So there are risks but so far (touchwood) as long we research and thru proper comunications with seller, things would not go wrong.

I agree with Odinn, sadistic reaper hauling like no tmmrw and amassing an army here.

Fulamak cun! Got rotating fans to cool us in the office (an excuse to give to boss). Reminds me of one of the Star Com vehicle.

The color scheme is awesome...and like one of those NOD vehicles in Command & Conquer.

As you mentioned, the new refreshed Cobra Viper with red wrists comes with bazooka instead of surface to air rocket launcher?

The repacked Viper comes with more accessories compared to the POC one. No shooting missile launcher ala ROC launchers. Planning on building a small squad of Vipers and Iron Grenadiers
