thanks all for the battery tips.

i think the battery on android a bit shot-shot tei = crazy

last nite, i put in airplane mode and after 8-9 hrs, it dropped 3% - which is good...but on rare ocassion it drops 20-40% ???

same settings - off all apps and wifi/BT and i've got no data plan fyi

hope GB 2.3 will solve batt issue - yes.. no?

2.3 supposedly has better power management so you can expect better battery life. So, everyday plug into PC and check Kies, and announce here when 2.3 is available, ok? smile.gif

do u guys experience a little but noticeable lag on this phone..?
i always compare this phone to an iphone...and notice that it is not quite smooth as iphone does even the specs are quite the same...
its lag even on the interface...
ever heard of lag fix?
is it worth it to use?...how helpful is it..?
i saw a video on utube showing the result after installing lag fix...quite tremendous..
but on the downside i heard that it is quite tricky to get rid of it and can be quite buggy..

Galaxy SL does have a significant lag on some interface, but I don't think this is problem for me XD so I don't care abt lag fix.

heard that GB is lesser latency problem then Froyo, let's wait this shite out first and see XD

use almost any other 3rd party launcher like Go Launcher, ADW or launcher pro and most lag will be gone.

Really don't like TW launcher at all. And the funny thing is, TW launcher is the major cause of patent infringement with Apple!

My homescreen lags. Using GO Launcher. Sometimes my swipe doesn't register. Only the homescreen, not the app drawer. I wonder why? sad.gif

I notice the same thing too with Go Launcher.

So far for me, Launcher Pro Plus (paid) is the only one offering smooth scrolling in both homescreen AND app drawer.

ADW launcher almost did it but homescreen also not smooth.

Since Launcher Pro Plus is paid app, it's better than GO Launcher, yes? Might wanna give it a try.

spb shell sure will be more lag coz for d 3d effect, mayb a dualcore phone can play well with it...

go launcher is good for ppl who love different effect and theme then sure is great (can change any icon style u love on home screen icon_rolleyes.gif ), and if look for smoother ui then is launcher pro free version....... but still nt 100% smooth

I love the colourful icons of TouchWiz and yet like GO's customisability. Luckily I found this theme, it makes the GO icons look like TouchWiz icons laugh.gif
after hiding GO's app drawer tabs, it's perfect!
