so far its stable for wifi, and data connection....your also can make a call and received a call even its europe version....so far battery saving is like shit...its drain faster after using wifi about 30 minutes plus downloading some apps from market...so i using juice defender...so far my battery life is okay....GPS lock really fast....5 - 10 second...no need to enter setting mode for gps....just try install GPS status apps and try your self..

yeah didn't really notice much improvement in battery life, still need to use JD.
impressed with the GPS though. don't have to use the lbstest method at all

launcher pro is free, plus is paid with a few extra widgets only. I get it just to avoid some nagging lol.

the free version is good if you don't encounter the 'please pay me' nagging when doing some non-routine stuff which i do routinely

Go launcher is also very good, only that there is no option for column x row adjustment in app drawer.

To each his own is what I can say....one man's launcher is another man's poison!


On a side note, I just want to make correction here that Papago X5 Thai will ALSO force close when navigating with sound. (Cantonese and English).

I'm wondering if GB will have any changes cos for me voice navi is quite important...

I just tried Sygic Aura, the mapping and navigation algorithm totally sucks!

x5 thai runs on GB kph, yet to turn on the voice cause it followed previous setting when i restore the app. will try later.
have a feeling it will still fc if i turn on the voice.. hehe

Actually GO has app drawer grid size setting: 4x4, 4x5, 5x4, 5x5.

I saw from review that the Launcher Pro dev has abandoned the app :|

b. they say after Raya 2.3OS out

c. they recommended to go to center to upgrade and not to use Kies

d. upgrade 2.3OS charges = under warranty (Free), after warranty (Rm40), AP phone (RM80)

after i take pics using SL camera and download to my laptop, i cannot edit via Microsoft Paint. it says error file format

I can view via Microsoft View Gallery, but same issue wheni try to edit and save - it gives error

any of u experience this and how to solve this?

Hi,

Your battery pack may be physically degraded if overcharged / exposed to high temperatures or it may be even defective from the factory.

You can just invest in a spare batt for RM30-50 for a try, I think its worth it to spend 5% of the phone trying to fix it.

Without wifi and 3G, I can end up with 70+ % after 12hrs standby.

fully charged? i tried idle without 3G/wifi, sometime only drained up not over than 20%, but sometime it fast like hell...

Go launcher that top 3 "sorting" icons? you mean in the app drawer, the "all", "recent used" and "running"?

If you are talking about that tabs, it can be hide in the setting in app drawer

Yes, as terrence says, it can be hidden with the latest versions of GO Launcher. More space for our icons now!

Nothing much happens directly from rooting.

Any card also can. Lowyat selling rm20 for 4gb and rm35 for 8gb. Sandisk, Kingston, Transcend. I got a Transcend 8gb class 4. Why Transcend? Less chances of fake... I hope

I have rooted my phone and upgraded the firmware to the european one.. if i wanna update it with the official gingerbread from samsung malaysia soon. do i have to unroot it first ?
