Guys, I need help here.
My friend faces disconnect frequently for his game when I start to use my PC. When my PC is turned off, there is no problem at all. Disconnect at game only, not the internet. Another problem is, when there is more than 1 user playing Blackshot(online FPS game), 1 of the user will disconnected after few second the game starts. So when I start my PC, my friend cannot plays his game, and we cannot we the same game at the same time. Any solution ? This post has been edited by WiLeKiyO: Sep 23 2011, 01:38 AM |

QUOTE(WiLeKiyO @ Sep 23 2011, 01:08 AM) Guys, I need help here. If you are using the TM's Dlink DIR-615, it's certain that it might contribute to the problem. For me, this router has poor bandwidth distribution and clueless in prioritizing between online games, p2p, internet, etc. My friend faces disconnect frequently for his game when I start to use my PC. QUOTE(MX510 @ Sep 22 2011, 04:25 PM) I can hook up IPTV to Biz5 but u need the password login for iptv and decoder set tested and it worked :-) Thank you for your clarification. STB + password login, then the IPTV can work. So the next question is, Can the same username and passsword used on two set of STB at the same time but from different package?QUOTE(Zi-Tech @ Sep 22 2011, 11:58 PM) if the quota imposed, and then lot of user change the package, wonder if one day biz package also have quota.... not fixed ip, the dynamic one..... P/S: "Unlimited" as explain by TM is up to their imagination and interpretation. |

Now I'm researching those TM compatible routers recommended by klseet of which would has some sort of bandwidth control (or 'allocation' if I feel evil enough to hog a tad of the bandwidth;D)I've came across an Asus router width some bandwidth prioritization features, I think it's the RT-N13U. Anyone can pitch in about routers with bandwidth management? It's only been a week Unifi is installed in the housedhold but massive riot on bandwidth will be somewhat imminent here... |

I got full 5 bars, my router is upstairs and I'm using the laptop downstairs now. For a short term solution, @ youtube there's plenty of DYI booster that seems pretty fun to make. |

But when all comes together and decided to share. They should know they're sharing, not paying for self usage. Btw, if you're rich, i got no comment but I'm still a student. I can't afford rm150 per month for stupid internet. |

I actually asked klseet on this. But microtik is a bit out of budget. I will be getting the tp-link 841nd very soon. Played with tp-link simulator. Can divide bandwidth but not dynamically. What i mean dynamically here is...2 users connect, 5m/2 = 2.5m per person 5 usears connect = 1m per person. See how it goes xD |

Conventional home based router wont be able to do it. 2 users connect, 5m/2 = 2.5m per person 5 usears connect = 1m per person. See how it goes xD Correct me if I'm wrong. |
