I have something to ask u guys.i downgraded from the leaked belle back to anna.what I did was flashing with the scandinavia 11.5 and then update to anna via ovi suite. Does this mean I got back the official anna firmware? And about the warranty, will they know I have been flashing my phone?

i like the new ui in the leaked belle. but the icons (on homescreen), the fonts, are small, straining to the eye.
even the back/menu button also smaller than usual, occasionally need to tap twice to hit it.
now back using anna. though boring ui, the navigation back and forth is smooth and fast. nice fonts too.

besides, i dont like the uneasy feeling of having something which is incomplete.
will wait for the official release.

is there anyone here not using a screen protector?
n8 has gorilla glass which is scratch resistant, so it is ok not to use one right?

am thinking of removing my screen protector to go give better touch experience.

i copied this from nokia support forum.
it says use for Ovi Maps 3.04 (or 3.06), turn it into Offline mode

i've tried it and it works. remember to set the map to offline mode. in online mode sometime it work and sometime dont.

start with doing a search.

Using system, WGS 84 (lat, lon)


a coordinate like:

N 55° 35.559', E 13° 0.872'



Should be typed in to the search field like this:

55 35.559 n, 13 0.872 e





A coordinate like

51° 34' 57" N, 12° 34' 56" E



Should be typed in like this:

51 34 57 n, 12 34 56 e





Only seems to work when Ovi Maps is in Offline mode
